Can we get a video all on Disney transportation?

So I think you move the Disney vlogs to Disneyville, but you do a highlight reel on Tyler’s page to prompt current subscribers to view the new Disney Vlogs at Disneyville. I adore all of your channels and miss the little projects too Tyler! Townhouse??? So yes many of us know, but I even knew more when Vlogmas was up, because Jess put up a highlight to go to his channel to see the latest. That helped a bunch in transitions. All change is different, but necessary for progress, right?! 😊 lots of fans of The Brauns in our house. Good luck 👍🍀

if your blog is under welcometodisneyville couldn't you incorporate that name into a new you tube channel, then you could have the podcast linked on the screen like you do the travel agency. That way all your Disney stuff is under the same umbrella. Love the vlogs from Disney and the podcasts both are very entertaining.

You need to check more things. I have been a DVC member since 1992 at OKW. Many two bedrooms are lock-(offs-outs). OKW is the most spacious of all the resorts. Saratoga Springs is a disaster - the rooms are cramped & there is very little storage space. OKW has some of the most beautiful grounds - great for walking & jogging. I am 73 now & I have no problem walking the entire grounds. There are no other resorts that match OKW in spaciousness. It's 5-7 minutes from OKW to Epcot from the Hospitality House. I always request "no ground floor" as I have endured a first floor with the bouncing ball family above me. I do recognize your concern about strollers & children - then request a ground floor. The Grand Villas sleep twelve & there are three bathrooms +. Please check all your "facts" before you comment & critique!

I second what someone else said about Alien Encounter, it was terrifying. I was about 10 at the time and I remember crying the whole time. I vividly remember that there was a part in the ride where you could feel the Alien breathing on the back of your neck. Yeah, no thanks haha

I had to look up the Pinocchio German or Italian thing after this because I always thought it had a German vibe! And Pinocchio Village Haus in MK seems so German. This is what I found: Google said this: “The 1940 film: Disney's 1940 animated film Pinocchio is loosely based on the book. The film is set in a generalized European setting, with characters from different countries. For example, Stromboli is Italian, Geppetto has a German accent, and Jiminy Cricket and Lampwick are American.” Someone on a Disney site wrote this: “The very first role I played there in the 1982 Christmas Parade ("Fantasy on Parade") was called the Tyrolian Puppet. I was one of Stromboli's dancing puppets in the street next to Stromboli's wagon, dressed up in fake fabric Lederhosen, an Alpiner hat, exaggerated puppet makeup and shoes, etc. Pinocchio and Gepetto also wore Lederhosen, and Gepetto had a distinct German accent, so although it is never overtly indicated in the film, I think the Disney version is supposed to be set in the German-speaking Alpine region of northern Italy called South Tyrolia (Südtirol), even though the original novel was I think set in Tuscany. I'm assuming that's where the people at WDW Entertainment got the idea for a "Tyrolian" puppet to be added to the MK Christmas parade (plus, my character's costume designer was Austrian or German.)” forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/pinocchio-village-haus-whats-up-with-the-name.873522/

I’ve followed Jessica for several years on her Jambeauty account and this is my first time watching this channel/podcast and it’s been absolutely entertaining to watch you both talking about Disney like this. I like how you both seem to cherish and love each other so much and can only hope one day my bf goes to Disney with me. He’s not a Disney fan 😭

Hey y’all! I’m former Disney cast member. Had to share: At least as of last August, Stitch’s Great Escape is now used as backstage for cast members. There’s still the original ride seating in the room of the attraction. The space is now used as physical wellness checks for certain cast members. Some of the more physical roles have to do regular checks in order to make sure you’re fit enough for the job (lifting, squatting, etc.) These cast members will have random shifts when they will report to this area and do a physical “test”. They also keep great snacks back there! Hopefully it’ll be used for something guest-related and more magical soon 😂

I worked at great movie ride 10 years ago (before the tcm takeover)😭 best, yet wildest job I have ever had. I could talk about it for so long. I’ll put in a few facts in the comment. If you have any questions about it or want to know more, feel free to reach out! I miss it so so much 😢 Honestly had chills with you guys talking about it and the listener answers talking about it. If you are into behind the scenes stuff, here’s a few tidbits: -Cast members that worked there are called movie riders and we all share that special piece of history ❤ genuinely it was like a family. -The trams were two parts connected with a hinge thing. Each vehicle could fit about 70 guests, depending on whether or not the vehicle had the wheelchair accessible part at the back. -Each tour was approx 22 minutes. Pre-tcm takeover, on the first day of training near the beginning they handed you a 40 page script and said you have 2-3 days to learn it(of course parts of it were the animatronics lines or variations of different lines you could choose from, so not all 40 but it was very overwhelming to be handed that!). You normally went live day 4 or 5. About 7-9days of training all together. You also had to be trained on every single “land” position as well. So it was definitely overwhelming. -You also were NOT considered an entertainment role. When I worked there, it was minimum wage 7.83 an hour and it was a mentally and physically exhausting job. -I got placed at the attraction randomly (did not request it) and had never done a tour, acting, learned a script, or talked in a microphone before and sometimes we had to do 5-10 shows a day depending on rotations, breaks, and shift time. -It was one track. The vehicles in the front were “a” aka the western scene takeover. “B” was the gangster takeover, vehicle behind a. -“A” vehicles kept driving through gangster, “B” vehicles would stop in gangster. The gangster takes over and gets to narrated in the western scene. The cowboy only goes straight into alien. -As the day went on and got less busy, they would “drop” “a” vehicles throughout the day. So that’s why people usually got gangster shows more or never even knew the western option existed. -Worked with magnets in the ground, I’m pretty sure. But the cast member “drove” it as in controlled speed. It could be put in manual mode to use the steering, but that was only for maintenance. There were four gear speeds and I think it could only go like 4mph at most. -There were visual and music cues to learn when to gear shift to different speeds. -The tour guide would go up a flight or two of stairs to the Anubis hallway. We would wait back there for the vehicles. You only had a few mins to catch your breath and throw the robes on. Then you threw the robes to the next cast member. -The microphones and speakers were SO BADDD, honestly they needed to fix those. I am soft spoken and would have to scream into some depending on which microphone or which vehicle I got. -Yes it had a very distinct 80s/90s old smell, specifically in alien -Also, there was a rumor that the Kylo ren weird floppy arm animatronic was the witch repurposed but I have no idea if that is true or not! Let me know if there’s any questions! I have tons of stories 🫣 I miss that job every day. Also sorry for the long comment! 🫣

I used to be a Walt Disney World cast member. My first job was a lifeguard at blizzard Beach in 2002. This is not so much as an encounter, but I did see Hugh Grant on the lazy river with a bunch of women floating along with him. I also met the drummer from Papa Roach Tony Palermo at the Polynesian swimming pool. I also met Buddy Valastro from cake boss at the Yacht And Beach resort when I was a concierge and we miss placed his cannoli shells for one of the eat to beat demonstrations. And he was furious however, later on, we did find the box.

Also I was traumatized by extraterrorestrial alien encounter when I first went on it at 10 in the mid 90s so much so that when I went back at 14 and my parents made me face my fears by riding it again. I had a full blown panic attack where I hyperventilated and almost passed out. Still had to ride it but they had already changed it and it wasn't so bad. In the original the alien killed people and the blood dripped on u in the dark as the alien flew around u and u could feel the hot breath on the back of ur neck. I don't know what Disney was thinking with this ride back then. The stitch version seems way better

It’s as scary as everyone has heard. My mother brought my family on it, she kept saying, “oh it will be fun”. I was in ninth grade and my brother in fifth at the time. I kept saying I didn’t want to because I had seen the little commercial that they used to show about new rides on the Disney channel. My dad was so mad after. My brother and I were screaming/ crying, I was digging my nails into her arm, and telling her I hate her for bringing us there the entire time. We laugh about it now, but it was horrible. It was like Stitch on steroids. The real alien gets released from the test tube looking thing and then the terror ensues in the dark.

Interesting, the studio tour is very similar to the Universal Studios tour in California. They do almost the same thing with Jaws, the rain and flood (can't remember if there was a fire), the streets. It seems almost a copy but most of the Universal pieces are still used (like the city sets) or are pieces from past projects.

Not rides but the Main Street electrical parade, the high school musical show, and the animation academy. I remember these vividly as a kid. The high school musical show was nothing crazy but as a 8 year old who loved HSM there is nothing like seeing wildcats at MGM dancing and singing your favorite songs. It was right in front of the big sorcerer hat!
