Great work john, very informative. I have a 58 Impala I believe was sitting in a lake! Your videos and photos are very helpful and locating some of the placement of some sheetmetal and custom fabrication as they don't reproduce all sheet metal Keep up the great work!

Great video! Does a earlier style corner panel fit a later model. To get the cooler look of the smaller tail lights? Or are corner panels completely different?

There's definitely enough space between the header and front seats to put a back seat in that. IDK if the roofline will support it, but the wheelbase will, at least.

Thank you John, great video for anyone trying to decide in what course of restoration to take on one of these few to none 58's still out there. Two year only parts, one year only body. A matching # engine build, either endless $, passion, insanity or all of the above. Leaves me wondering in the moments right before I go to sleep "what did I get myself into"?

I like the two tone paint job. I think 2 tone paint jobs look so nice. I see so many old trucks painting fire engine red, or White. I like a 2 tone. Looks classy and period correct. I know some of the trucks had 2 piece front wind shields and like this one a one piece. I know they could not make curved 1 piece windshields till later in the 1950's. I wonder why some manufacturers went with 2 piece windshields and some went with 1 piece. Both look nice to me, I like the crank out front windshields myself. I wonder why they only sold this originally with 1 windshield wiper?

WAY too many musical backgrounds to play, which is great if you're the kind of person who wants musical background for certain situations like Peter Griffin wished for. Personally I just want the Dukes of Hazzard 12 note Dixieland horn with maybe the ability to use the horn as a PA with my CB.

High temp powder coat is good to 1000 degrees. If he didnt use high temp and they light that indoors the fumes could be very dangerous. I'm sure they just want it as decoration...I hope.
