@@KarzGuitarit is, i’ve sped up my own videos in the past but ended up just learning it because as a musician it’s so obvious.

@EastCoastAudioNC I don't know what to tell you, dude. I don't speed up my videos. I've got a lesson explaining this song section by section, slow and fast. This solo is cut out from my top 10 a7x solos video where I played them all in one sitting - playing the MIA solo by itself isnt a big feat. I'm sorry you've got such a poor eye for video then. I say that because, I'd love for you to tell me how I'd speed up a 50 fps video recorded in PAL (so, all lighting is in 50hz over here), successfully adhering to the 180 degree rule (as you should be able to tell by the amount of motion blur) while keeping realistic movements for everything outside of the guitar playing. A telltale sign of a sped up video is unrealistic fast movements of the player's body, arms etc - which you won't find here.

Haha, well I know he does sweep on occasion but it's really not that often! He had a phase around Train of Thought of doing very quick sweeps where the individual notes weren't super distinct; the type of sweep was usually one where rolling carried you through it and you'd get several strings with one finger. But the real shredder type sweeps weren't really his thing - it did feel like he thought they were overdone, because beyond WDaDU and ACOS he never really did much of the neoclassical thing (exceptions for The Great Debate and maybe The Best of Times though).
