Awesome build, I'm building a Create-a-bed as well, horizontal queen size. Definitely helping me with some build decisions. I really liked your blue paint choice, goes well. would you mind sharing the brand and color name? I just can't seem to match it up with any color swatches.

Just a few minir suggestions. To anyone that is making this. I am an epoxy artist and would suggest epoxy as the final coat because of the fact that epoxy is self leveling and because, especially over white it really helps hide imperfections. Once you have painted everything, then epoxy. Also something cheaper to use to smooth out the paper mache is dry wall mud. Just a minor suggestions from one costume maker to another. I love this, and my grandson asks for me to make him a Jack mask, so this is helpful!

😮I’m making one now and was about to do the epoxy, so you’re saying do the paint before? Doesn’t it dry like a yellow-ish color? I used epoxy on the inside of my mask and it looks a little discolored. Did I do something wrong? Maybe I used the wrong type😅

Hey, I am wanting to do something very similar to this, and I found the same EXACT cabinet in a town an hour from where I live but wasn't able to measure it, what is the overall outside depth measurement on your cabinet? I have a narrow closet that I want to turn into a "speakeasy" and want to be sure I can fit it through the doorway.

I'm just going to play devil's advocate here and ask, do you really have to tighten the Rings because I believe that you're just supposed to soak the barrels so they swell? Because if you expose it to moisture after tightening it, doesn't that mean that it'll get too tight and pop the screws and rings when it gets wet

I would like to know if you would ever consider helping someone out that's less fortunate but has pretty much the products he would need to design the same exact desk setup that you made. Only reason I'm asking is because I need all the help I can get to design one just like yours. I'm not good at measuring at all or reading any measuring devices really at all. Have you ever gave it a thought on helping someone that needs some help on building things. If you and your girlfriend would give it a thought and see if you would consider something like this I really appreciate it very much. I have two Stack-On metal reloading benches that I would like to turn into a desk just like yours I think they would work pretty good for this project. But I need some major help redesigning them. I don't have a house or a garage of any kind I live in an apartment and I can't really do projects like this in a apartment I don't have the tours at all either. If you could just give it a thought and let me know if you would be willing to help I know you don't live near where I live but maybe there's a way we can make some arrangements to get it done. Hope to hear from you too soon
