When you transferred did you have all the UT freshman and sophomore class under your belt? I submitted my transfer app into the business school with 72 credit hours, but don’t have any business classes finished. Just chemistry and electives

Hi, I actually did not transfer. I went to an early college high school, so I got my associates degree and core classes out of the way. You should checkout my transfer video, where I interviewed actual transfer students. I hope that helps, and I wish you the best with your McCombs application!

I loved your video! I'll be an incoming freshman next year in the Moody School of Journalism and I'm interested in hearing more about your experience so far, etc. I'm also interested in tips and what not. Loved if you could get back to me so we can discuss more. Thank you!!!

how would you rate the food on a 1-10 scale?
@cynthiamiranda33436 жыл бұрын
Hi Tasia, I would give it a 5. There isn't a whole lot of seasoning, and I wasn't used to this because my family seasons their food a lot. However, one plus is that they have healthy options and buffets, but there isn't anything like having one of our home cooked meals.

Are there no buses?
@cynthiamiranda33437 жыл бұрын
Hi Leora yes the Metro bus system is free for UT students, and I try to take advantage of that because I didn't bring my car. But it takes some time to wait for the bus so I think it's easier to just walk to class.

Hi Cynthia! I'm a freshman at UT right now, and I was thinking about living in Jester next year. How do you like living there as an upperclassman?
@cynthiamiranda33437 жыл бұрын
Hey Parker I'm actually a freshman too, I just came in with a lot of dual credit courses. I live in Jester East and it is really new, so that part is really nice. I would say the only problem is the space is a bit small, but its up to you to make the most of it. I am used to the space now, and I would recommend it.

Hi Emelee thank you so much for watching and subscribing! I am so glad that you liked the video. What other questions do you have? Let me know what other videos you would like to see.

Hi! I would love to know how smooth transferring was for you? I am working on my application and I don't have much volunteer experience, but I do have clubs I have joined and a high GPA. Will that be okay? When did you submit your application? Any video about UT Austin and your experiences like this one helps immensely! There are not a lot of transfer student videos on UT, so I absolutely appreciate this! Also, did you ever go to any transfer stuff( like days geared towards prospective transfers) before you transfer that UT Austin had? I would just love to hear your journey and more transfer stuff in videos and more!
@cynthiamiranda33437 жыл бұрын
Emelee although I came in with credits I am not "officially" a transfer student. I applied through the freshman application, but I had a lot of college dual courses I took in high school, so I'm a junior. I do have friends and classmates who are transfers and I could definitely ask them about the application process. You should come to the transfer student events because it shows your interest in UT
