Yes, I think you are right. A bearded Vulture would never use a aerie in a tree.

Poor baby was doing everything it could just to break out of its' shell. Just breaking out of there looked like it took every ounce of muscle in its' tiny claws and underdeveloped wings. Is this little guy doing okay as of 4 years later?

Oh my god, that's one RARE bird. It's probably one of the birds from the Balkans (Bulgaria or Greece) or even Turkey. I doubt it's from Spain but it's possible, they cover incredible distances. Absolutely amazing 😍😍 you are one lucky, lucky person!

What egg candler do you use? Bearded vultures eggs has very thick egg shell and yet here you can see the embrio beautifully.
