We met Bobby on various occasions and became friends. He would let us know when he was in our town and we would have dinner with him..and whoever was on the venue with him like Freddie Cannon.... Jan and Dean. It was such an honor to know him. We had a neat street rod and Bobby had us help look for a mustang for his boys birthday. Bobby drove our street rod and I have pictures for great memories. Miss you Bobby. Rock on up there big guy! 💫

I was born in dec,1954. The first record I remember was Doris Day’s Que Sera Sera then Neil Sadaka’s. Breaking up is hard to do! My sis who is 15 months older than me got a record player in 64! Somehow I missed Bobby Vee records, A few years I heard them but didn’t know who he was! I now know them all, what a Great Talent, R.I.P. Bobby Vee
