There was a Malhua Kalyan by Bahadur Khan on AIR. Probably erased. He was a wonderful sarod player, second only to his cousin Ali Akbar Khan. Anil Bhattacharya, the accompanist, was a student of Khalifa Wajid Husain of Lucknow, himself the student and son-in-law of Khalifa Abid Husain and father of Afaque Husain.

The presence of komal ni in many sangatis through the alap, and the absence of Nand's signature GMDPRS phrase would argue otherwise. This is a textbook khamaj.
