I know this is an old upload and I hope that it's still monitored. I have this same fdr x3000 and would love to know what current app is needed to transfer video from the cam to a Samsung S23 Ultra. I use it on my motorcycle from time to time and would love to transfer the video to my phone for editing and then upload to my KZbin channel. Please help

Ok I found there is a little indicator on the LCD that goes from 1.0 to 3.0 in increments of .1. Strangely, you press up to zoom in, and down to zoom out. It does work in 4k even though some manuals says it doesn't.

I know it zooms because I did it before, but I can't remember how. I have no display but I thought it had an indicator on the LCD. I'm pretty sure the zoom is digital, not optical, but I just use enough to get rid of the fisheye effect.

I would love to have seen the correct way to insert the card.

Great cam but won’t dropped the app on apple. Easy to upload with a lightning card reader but can’t get gps data and speedometer on screen. Big let down. Any tips on getting around this appreciated.

Thanks for the comparison. While the Brio's webcam seems to have a lower noise floor, in that it's quite in your pauses, I suspect it's got better built-in noise impression than the Samson. That said, I think the quality of the sound of the Samson is better. It sounds more pleasing, and fuller. The Brio's audio seems tuned to highlight the spoken voice with crisper "highs", which may be a valuable feature, however it sounds lower quality and I don't prefer it. With that said, the Brio's microphone is miles better than the sound from my Logitech C310 and C270 cameras. If one didn't need the improved video quality of the Brio, a C310 and the Samson mic would total up to be about half the cost of the Brio. The downsides are the poorer video quality, and the fact that it's to devices so you'd need two USB ports.

I want to go with a different carrier and wipe my phone, so the information like photos and files and contacts are saved. I would like the contents stored on a usb drive, how and what do I use to accomplish the task?

try Samsung flow much easier and way faster just make sure you download it on both phone and laptop or tablet that easy

Cheap Samsung phone constantly telling me my storage is full Wi)l not transfer fully to laptop. Had no problem w/Samsung tablet w/a SD card. Drives me crazy.

Can I copy texts I have received by using this method?

Does it work both ways? I found transferring a 1 GB+ video file from PC to phone took 15 minutes. Can I copy my video files onto the USB drive and then plug into the phone and transfer to there?

What is more important is the use when outside with wind noise. The built in mic just needs a cover over the mic but this video does not address the problems when outside.

This will not work with the Samsung S7 as it has a micro usb connector. This memory stick has a usb-c connector.
