By the order of your points: #5: I used to play old school MMORPGs, where you could have between 20-40 buttons on the screen. I resisted the modernization of gaming to reduce the amount of different clicks (not the number of clicks). But, looking back, it was the right choice. A game isn't better or more enjoyable because there are 20 different attacks. Which means that a lot of them are fillers and I think it would be hard to have something as a "whirlwind Barbarian" when they have a whirlwind ability and 15 other melee abilities in their rotation. It gives builds and combat a more unique style. #4: This is pretty much the same as the previous point. Less skills = more impactful and meaningful skills. Adds flavor and makes a specific build stand out more. A Blizzard sorc is very different from an Arc Lash sorc. A HOTA Barbarian is very different from a Double Swing/Charge Barbarian. It allows for the developers to make unique play styles within the same class. Which I think has not only been good for Diablo, but for gaming in general. #3: Missing? 😶‍🌫 #2: I like gem slots in general. I think it's an easy to understand gear upgrade and you get pretty gems. 😁 That said, I wouldn't personally like to have skill gems. I don't like the "+skill"-system in general. It makes items like Harlequins Crest insanely good and a must have for majority of builds. I don't mind it, but I don't love it either. 😵‍💫 #1: I've played all the Diablo games, including the abomination by the name "Immortal". Which, ironically died very fast. The last Diablo story I really followed was in D2. I was 17 years old in my curiosity prime. I listened to all dialogues and interacted with every NPC. As I've grown older, I have lost my patience for it. I want to smash heads and crush bones. The reason I'm doing it can be to save humanity from Diablo and the demons of hell, or it could be to make sure the human race is doomed to eternal suffering. I honestly can't care anymore. I hope I'm the good guy in the story, but I don't really know for sure. 😅

Spore warden mixed with brrrzerker can do some wild stuff. Those ice tornados boosted do some crazy damage. While brrzerking your action skill counts as always active meaning enchantments that apply are always buffing you. You can also run a barrage build that lets you do 40% bonus damage to anything you hit with your action skill allowing you to debuff and slay almost anything

Jormuntide ignis is a beast I ran two maxxed out condensed ones with ferocious and musclehead. Had well over 1700 attack. Absolute monsters. Only problem is they're so big their hit box means every attack lands on them. Astegon is cool but I found its more useful in the base unfortunately. It does have dark laser which is nice (best generic move imo) the lack of a good combat skill and a unique attack make it lackluster compared to legendary stuff later on. It is a good placeholder until then though.

I feel pretty much the same way about it. Right now it's an unpolished gem. Defiantly something that can be great. Mix of d2 POE and borderlands

The video is pretty useful but I can't agree with telling new players to rush getting endgame gear like Nidus and the Opticor Vandal. As a fresh install, your priorities should be finishing the star chart and building up weapon mastery. The first frame I'd recommend getting is Rhino because he's easy to farm, one of the most durable frames in the game and is practically at the beginning of the star chart. On the subject of "what weapons to focus on" I would recommend picking any weapon they feel like until they have a few decently modded weapons at rank 30 with which to actually be useful in Thermia Fracture missions. None of the tips in this video are necessarily wrong, but I don't think they're appropriately geared to new players as the title and first few minutes of your video would suggest. Great work, man!
