I need something like this, but where the pin is 2.34mm wide and 5mm long....and possible to mount in 1.25mm thick sheet metal. preferably with holes in the sides to run an ironbar over to another one ...basically you pull both spring plungers at the same time. Do you have anything lile that in stock?

Wish i would have known about these a few months ago... was designing a shaft coupling method similar to those used in a socket wrench for a college project. Had to design it myself, but knowing these exist I could have completely foregone that and just bought one of these and press fit it into my attachment. Now I know i guess lol

Is it ok to add the adhesive on the stud side?
@CarrLaneMfg
@CarrLaneMfg 3 жыл бұрын
Hello, Adding adhesive to the stud side would not make the application work properly. Reach out to [email protected] for any additional question you have about our adhesive bonded fasteners.

how are the balls retained? I don't see any springs in the animation
@CarrLaneMfg
@CarrLaneMfg 10 жыл бұрын
The balls on the Carr Lock clamp are retained by a high temperature Viton O-Ring that unlike springs will not trap or retain chips. In the unlikely event that the O-Ring is damaged Carr Lane sells a repair kit for the clamp at a fraction of the cost of a replacement.

this is funny....all pressure is on screw diameter..washers crack all the time...I'd like to see this clamp against a miteebite pit bull clamp or ok-vise or uniforce...nice marketing technique haha!

My thoughts exactly...This looks a lot more failure prone. Miteebite are not perfect either though. I recently used the pitbulls and they have a lot of room for improvement.
