So glad this is still.online! Such a talent. I loved most.of her songs back in the day, but its her violin playing that has truly stood the test of time for me.

why
@ElectroTherapyFTSoul4 жыл бұрын
@@Fe-go2jw A good audience will when applaud when necessary, which tends to be in between songs, not during the entire bloody performance. There's being excited, and there's being respectful. Some people pay to hear the music, not hear the audience lose their shit every second.
@Fe-go2jw4 жыл бұрын
@@ElectroTherapyFTSoul It's not an orchestra concert or theater though. It's normal to cheer at concerts, you can clearly see her feeding of the audience's energy. It would be very strange and awkward for both the artist and the audience if it was silent and nobody was cheering. I agree that you shouldn't scream at moments that should be silent in the performance, but at energetic moments it's more disappointing if the audience doesn't cheer imo.

Audiences are the reason I don't like concerts. They ruin it by non stop screaming & wooing.

Oh my god, this is amazing! Before I discovered Emilie, I had no idea it was possible to shred a violin. People play it delicately, but there's so much passion and heart here compared to playing it traditionally, y'know? No one plays like EA.

@impalortimes39 жыл бұрын
? What up with that? Surely you don't think they are similar or even comparable. Both talented as hell, and both incredibly different.
@fiddlegirl2119 жыл бұрын
+rihildreth evenstar (it'sjustatrickofthelight) as a violinist of nine years, I can say that the music Lindsay plays is pretty, but fairly simple. a lot of her appeal is in hype, and production value. Emilie's music is much more complex and original than that of Sterling. unfortunately, Emilie seems to appeal primarily to subcultures, which means that Sterling gets all the credit for being the "pretty violinist girl."
@impalortimes39 жыл бұрын
+Sophia Ellis-Young I and many others don't care about your experience. Their music is different period. Neither is more talented. Simply put.
@fiddlegirl2119 жыл бұрын
+rihildreth evenstar (it'sjustatrickofthelight) their music is different. I'll agree with that. but musically speaking, Emilie is more talented
@fiddlegirl2119 жыл бұрын
+rihildreth evenstar (it'sjustatrickofthelight) I only bring up my experience because it allows me to understand musical complexity, and to see that Sterling's music lacks that. I'm sorry if you are unable to see the same.
