It would be fine that way. Some others ride with the sides off and just the top cover. I did see someone riding a motocompo the same way in my area. I wanted to say hi but he was gone too quickly 😅

@@Rturbo_ the oil tank gets in the way.. can be done with patience but budget more then a few hours and plan on frustration

The one for the shaft doesn’t have a part number but found this one fits - H-1513-167 H.Craft H Craft Oil Pump Shaft Oil Seal 9 x 16 x 4. For the outer ring that does have a part number on the oil pump it is - 9130-147-023. The other thinner ring at the top doesn’t have a part number. I just found someone online that has a few and was selling them

The part number for the whole thing is 15100GC6003. But I ended up getting just the seals and o rings from yahoo market here in Japan. I should have them all in a few days

Yeah you can hear the gear change more now with the exhaust on it. Before you could only feel when it went into the higher gear. I think all motocompo’s need a 2 speed clutch

Yeah back in the states it was hard to ride even a stock ruckus. But here in Tokyo , slow scooters are still fun and common to ride daily

Squash definitely feels more stable even with is small wheels. It won’t get stolen as easy too haha. I use my squash pretty much daily to go to work and carry small things. With the dio swap it’s got a top speed of 60km/h so I can keep up with traffic. Motocompo is mostly for weekend fun but I don’t leave it out alone

Im using the claw looking mount from the insta360 motorcycle bundle. Oh these I think they are very simple and don’t worry about that. But I take mine to a shop for all the custom work. This carb install required some custom parts made to have it fit

There’s a company in Osaka called Kicks Suspension that made a limited run last year. They did it 3 times and that was it

Was going to but decide to keep it and swap the motor to a dio af18. Does the job for short trips and to work

Do you know the distance for the carburetor mounting holes from center to center? I’m thinking about using an original carburetor from a Honda qr50 bike. Mine measure 38mm from center of hole to center of hole, hope this helps thank you.

Not sure the distance. Still don’t have a tape measure 😅

Had a full rebuild on the motor. All new gaskets, seals and bearings. Also had the clutch replaced with a good used one I had. Old clutch was no good anymore

@@Rturbo_ where did you get the parts to support the rebuild. Who did the work for you?

@hebertjonathan99 a guy by the name Subarm here in Tokyo did all the work. He’s the one with the orange nascar motocompo
