Lyrically, this is a very strange song. It is sung in what appears to be a fake made up language (that I have seen translated into English) and yet it is performed by quite a few people. It reminds me of Skyrim: The Dragonborn Comes which is a totally made up language and yet has been performed by several big orchestras. I guess that is the power of melody. I love Skyrim, it pulls at your emotion in a martial way. Gladiator is a great movie but the title song leaves me puzzled. But that's lyrically. Remove the lyrics and the song is, to me, better thus your piano version is appreciated better than the original soundtrack, well done. By the way, is that a new piano you're using? Things are getting rougher out your way - praying for your safety.

@@ricardochong6834 Dear Ricardo 🌺 Things have been getting rough out my way for about a year now , so music is definitely my way out of fire but still thinking of moving to a less insane place, which is actually anywhere. The piano I’m playing is still Yamaha U3, I just opened the cover since I think the inside of the piano is beautiful and fascinating. Anat, I never did comment on this when I first heard it, I'll do so now: This is a perfect 1960's song that you had created. It is of a time when North American youth were calling for an end to the Vietnam war; a time when the Hippie movement was in full swing so this would go right alongside with "If you're going to San Francisco" by Scott Mackenzie. Your song has brought back so many wonderful memories and I thank you for them.

I did a search when I first heard this song played by Lola Astanova (I'm almost sure that's a pseudonym) a few years ago and discovered that Yiruma is South Korean - he plays and actually sings this song though his lyrics seem to be much shorter than what I found posted. My favorite version is played with both piano and violin together. I have heard solo violin, solo guitar and solo harp but non beats solo piano and yours is a very wonderful rendition - have you ever tried piano/vocal with this song? I think your kitty loved your version too though cats don't seem to have along attention span. Listening to you play this is so very calming and relaxing and makes me picture walking beside a small river - the river that flows in you. Thank you so much.
