I'm at the point where I have to put the sproket on cylinder assembly, but I don't have the slack on the chain to line up sproket...it's there but not there...this is a raptor 90..any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Hey, I know it's probably a few years too late, but I would really like to pick your brain how you wired in the push button start. I'm trying to do it on my xv1100, and you said it's a 2-circuit switch and I want to know how to wire in the button up with that. Is there any way I can get ahold of you?

I didn't do the push button. If my Memory is correct there is a circute physically inside the housing that made it goofy.

I noticed the gasket you're using between the cylinder and the valve head is that rigid composite gasket, rather than the flexible cardboard gasket. I was wondering if you've ever had any problems/issues with that setup? I have an extra rigid gasket and to me it seems like a better choice over the cardboard, but I'm not an expert or anything. Perhaps it doesn't seal quite as well? Edit: It's possible that on my engine, someone mistakenly used the cardboard gasket for the valve head (combustion chamber area). I just noticed on another video that the darker rigid gasket was used, just like in your video.

Not sure if this will reach you, but I’m trying to figure out how to adjust where the piston head is in relation to the mark on my fly wheel. When I line up the mark on my flywheel to the one in my case, the piston head is all the way at the bottom of the cylinder. The original flywheel that came with the bike I bought was completely rusted because there was a crack in the cover which caused water to sit inside and rust it to pieces. Is there a way for me to adjust where the piston head is without adjusting the position of the flywheel?

I got these led lights I'm putting on my 98 xv1100 I need to tap into the left and right side turn signal wires and break because when you turn the signal on and or break the one side depending which turn signal you hit makes that whole sides lights flash same with when you hit the break they all turn red but can't find a wire diagram to find the separate turn signal wires and break wire do you have any way to help me find that out please?

Hi there,good video. I have a question about the crankcase breather. Am I meant to be able to blow or suck the hose and get air flow? When I do mine I can only get flow by removing filler cap.It just seems like a blockage. Thanks Joey.

Hey! I stuck a 1994 1100 in a fist gen chassis and I’m using the harness from that motor. I’ve got the bike running but no signal to the tach so I’ve decided to build my own from scratch. Your video has definitely caught my attention. And I’ve already ordered everything I need. What value diodes do you use? And do you have a good idea of what I need to do for a secondary lighting harness? (Blinkers, brake lights, headlight) thank you!

Hey I bought a pair of rgb led lights to run all around my virago the come with a feature where when you hit the break they all light up red then when you let go they go back to whatever color they were on before same with left and right turn signals when you hit the left the left side of bike flashes yellow then same with right... but you have to wire them to the turn signals and break wire do you know where I would find the left right turn signal wire harness to tap in each separate wire for the left and right turn signal and where the break wire would be to tap into it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
