You should never go stronger than 10:1 water to acid ratio as this can damage the cell. 4:1 is crazy.

You made a good point about the copper wire. Conducts heat all the way around your other wire. And it won't melt. It doesn't make sense why they want you to use zip ties.

I have the same frig with ice build up after six (6) years. Question: 1: Why now? 2: What has changed? I see suggestions about an addition heater coil, but it ran for six (6) years. What is failing now? I have seen above that the entry point for coil may need to be reseated?

So im a first time pool owner and i set my pool up and it was 6inches off on one side. So i bought pavers but i was going to stack two of them that are two inches high to try and level it and then not put any under my other side. Should i not do that and if not how do i fix and level it? by the way im draining it to do this not with the water in it if that helps
@danielguerra44478 ай бұрын
Best way is to level ground. Sand can help level, but only 1-2 inches. If you are off 4+ inches you have to dig to level it. You need a paver under each leg. You can dig paver down or leave above ground, whatever is necessary to keep frame level on top of pool.

Do not listen this awful advice. DO NOT CUT your butterfly gasket. Once you cut out your opening, the butterfly gadget will fit exactly as it is MEANT to do.
@danielguerra44478 ай бұрын
This is not a hard side. You don’t cut out a soft side before mounting plates. Therefore you cannot insert butterfly gasket. 🤷♂️
@Blayze10178 ай бұрын
Split the gasket like the video says. If you cut the opening 1st it’s probably going to stretch and fit like crap. Split my gasket and it never once leaked in 6 years of use.

@danielguerra44478 ай бұрын
It worked fine. I had it happen once in last year. This time I removed all lower panels in back and cleaned the dust buildup in the intake vents. Didn’t happen again. After that I moved into a new house and got an LG fridge so not messing with the Samsung anymore. I would have brought the Samsung to new house but the spot for it was shallower and didn’t want fridge to stick out several inches so I got the shallow depth full size capacity LG and I love it.
@boredinibiza8 ай бұрын
@@danielguerra4447 glad to hear it worked out pretty well over time. samsung also issued a new drain kit with better drain hoses and some insulating tape to help with the blocked drainage that also contributes to bad airflow behind the panel. some fridges can really create some nasty air particles that basically turns into sludge and blocks the drains. biggest symptom of that is the water under the dwarers. samsung also changed the design of this setup in really recent models so they are finally trying to fix the problem. i think I read there is a class action lawsuit that probably helped move their butts :D

How did you install these?
@danielguerra4447 Жыл бұрын
Just cut the old switch wires and connect to the new switch. Mounted them with small stainless screws. Only one that failed since I made this video was the firebox as it did get to warm. You could use a bracket to move switch away from firebox so it doesn’t get warm or just connect the two wires together and Jair bypass the whole thing. I did that for the fire box. Hopper and door still working great!

Question: Is this a repair recommended by the factory or something you invented?
@chilitoday7 ай бұрын
It’s not a factory fix. But it’s safe. I did it and it works good a year later. No overheating or melted plastic. It of course uses more electricity than it did before but not much. I had a Samsung guy out who wanted $350 to repair it out of warranty. It would just keep happening without the auxiliary heater wire. It’s a bad design and the repair guys know it and admit it. It’s job security for them. The guy had not seen this fix and was impressed.
