These must be early episodes of Wipeout, a very short-lived game show from the 1980s. Peter Tomarken hosted it after the disastrous ABC game show Bargain Hunters, but the results were the same. He'll be best known for the 1980s game show Press Your Luck on CBS.

at 6:30 how do they use that as a word when a few episodes ago they buzzed out schmancy when someone used it on the word fancy? that is every bit a slang word as this. A fifth grader has more education then these judges. I have a lot more respect for Dr Reason A. Goodwin who was the original judge in the old days now then I ever did before, then these clowns or clown as it may be.
