In general Princess is geared toward older adults. Of course it depends on the specific sailing. Holidays will typically have more families and children onboard.

Good video but not well informed, Progreso y a fishers town and honestly lots of Yucatecans we prefer our beaches to stay humble not like Cancun or Cozumel. We like it to keep it that way. And by the way don’t judge a book by its cover, do a better research Progreso y super safe, much safer than the tourist areas in Cancun or Playa del Carmen.

I didn’t say it wasn’t a great place for locals. It’s not a great cruise port in my opinion. And I don’t need to do any research to explain my experience or opinions. I do know there were people there impersonating cruise ship employees.

Thanks for the tour. Hopefully we can book before it leaves Galveston. Do they allow you to bring back a soda on to the ship that you purchased when you were off the boat at a port? The Allure didn’t allow us back in 2016. Just curious.

We took our first cruise this summer, to Alaska. The ship made very clear what port time was and when we were due back and never tried to have “ship time”, which is a ludicrous concept.

Disney ships are dark blue. So dark it is almost black. The name of the color is “Monica Blue”. Another fun fact is the color of the yellow lifeboats had to be approved by proving the color was just as visible as the traditional orange out in the ocean.

I believe it was for the cabin attendants cleaning equipment. Either way we noticed no noise.

Just in case anyone else is planning a similar journey, car is not the easiest way of travelling from Gatwick to Central London. By far the quickest is the train. It is also much cheaper. Trains are used by rich and poor in the UK without the safety fears there are in some countries.

Great review. Looking at their pricing this coming January and my goodness the villas start at $900 for the cheapest. For a port of 7 am to 3 pm I just can’t justify it for our family of 4. I’d rather save it for the next cruise.

It’s my opinion based on 22 years of policing, visiting hundreds of cities and my personal experience. There is no bias as I love Mexico and foreign travel. I also know when a situation is less than safe. Like people impersonating Carnival employees wearing a Carnival name tag. I hope others have a better experience.

Please if you have any respect for Irish people do not refer to Ireland under the banner of British Isles. Ireland is a republic, we are not under British rule, the term British isles might be used as a geographical term, but doesn’t make it less offensive. So call it Britain and ireland try to respect 600 years of British royals was very unpleasant . Thankfully we’ve great relationship now. But we are no longer a monarchy

Please read all the other comments. It’s a term used by all of the cruise lines, similar titling a “Greek Island Cruise” even though it stops in Italy. Or a “New England Cruise” that stops in Canada (I could go on and on)

@@ftbeat It isn't a term used by cruise lines although cruise lines may use it. The term is used by Brits who still try and lay claim to Ireland. We do not like the term at all. It would be a kin to calling the South of the US the "Northern Mexican Alley" or the North of the US the "Southern Canadian Peninsula". Get it right man

Great video! We took our first cruise last year on Harmony of the Seas. We had a great time, but the one big drawback was the incredibly loud MC yelling / shrieking non-stop on the pool deck. Because of that we did not go to the pool a single time. What is the music/noise scene at the Regal Princess pools?

Princess is much more laid back except on New Years sailings. It's still not as loud as Royal Caribbean ships though.

I see I am like a year late for commnets here ;-) - just searching now as our travel agent booked us a 12 night British Isles cruise for next June (2025) - never been on a Princess cruise - been on 4 Norwegian cruises - which were ALL outstanding - but very good video to get a liitle look at the Regal Princess we will be on -usually stick with one thing ( or cruise line ) once I start-- but our travel agent recommended this one for the places it goes as she has been on them before - so ya a yr. later thanks for the video ;-)
