what happened to the transitions tab on elements? I don't see it anywhere next to conditionals. Also not able to drag and drop elements like I have seen in other bubble videos. No matter what I do, the element just snaps back to where it was or rearranges the other elements around it.

Hi Gregory! when i click on Job Post the container housing everything is not visible like it is when i click on settings... everything looks the same so I'm not sure where i went wrong that it wouldn't be visible at all
@user-hm6bb2ki3mКүн бұрын
i figured it out.. maybe incorrectly? to my group container i had to add "get v from page UR is job-posts" as a 2nd condition. I have both group settings & group jobs in the same container.

Thank you very much for this awesome course! 👏 I have a question regarding database structure/logic : in your example, there are 3 different Plans (Starter, Growth, Yearly) with only one frequency (month) for each Plan. How would you approach a need for Plans with two frequencies (month and year)? Here are the options I think about right now: 1. Duplicate the following attributes as values are different between month and year: Amount, ID price test, ID price live (so we would have Amont month, Amount year, ID price test month, ID price test year...) 2. Create 6 different Plans : Starter month, Starer year, Growth month, Growth year... I do not think those 2 options are the most efficient ones (or even working) and I think I am missing something here. Would you have any suggestions? Thank you for your precious help 🙏

I can copy text variables from your demo page, but when I right click those variables in my app, it only gives me the option to copy but not to paste. Not a big deal as I can edit them later, just thought you should have that feedback...

I really enjoy these new courses and find them very helpful! Can we get a short video on how to set up the Bubble application subscription for a "company" such as a B2B SaaS application? I know payments are associated with a User (Customer), but how do we handle this in Bubble and Stripe?

Gregory is so calming to listen to. I feel as relaxed as a dog having his belly rubbed. - - WOAH- hang on a minute, what browser / interface is Mr John using here, and how do I get it?

Great vid as always. I use custom states which shows a cleaner URL, but maybe this method is better for SEO. Can someone shed light on the pros and cons for both methods?
Bizarre that returning backend data to the front end is not on the roadmap, this is one of the biggest frustrations as a user. Can the stakeholders involved in these internal discussions try building an app using Bubble from scratch before arguing about the importance of features?

Thank you so much Greg! I did every single lesson, and I feel secure enough to start building simple apps. This tutorial made this possible, thank you! I already have a project to build for a client, it´s a simple app to calculate the product quantitative for his clients. This tutorial generated 1 client from my side and hope to get more.

@56:47 how would we implement the live switch here?
@LafeSpace5 күн бұрын
It would actually be helpful to understand how to make it live in general. The videos are so long, I've lost track of exactly where these live switches need to happen.
@gregory-john4 күн бұрын
You don't actually need to update the endpoints for the live version in Bubble. You only need to update the Stripe webhook URLs when you are ready to deploy by removing '/version-test' from the endpoint URL's.
@LafeSpace3 күн бұрын
@@gregory-john so the logic in Bubble won't cause any issues, particularly where it says price-test @1:01:14 ?
@LafeSpace3 күн бұрын
@@gregory-john I've switched the live hooks and now I get errors when running live. I hope your next video covers this, as going live is the most vital point. The test version runs fine.

Hello John, I'm hoping that you see this message soon. But first let me say, I have been following and participating in this course from beginning to end. The best course hands-down out there for Bubble beginners, and it's crazy it's free. I've learn so much and have built my confidence as a Bubble developer. So here is my issue, on this lesson 3.8 when I copied the form as instructed, but when I went to grouping the forms in a row alignment, it messes up the whole alignment and I can'rt seem to figure out how to fix this. 🤦🏾♂😩. Can you possible help me to figure this out?
@gregory-john4 күн бұрын
I suggest using my editor link in the description to look at the Group Forms design settings. Something to note is that both 'Group Forms' as well as each 'Group Form should have no max width.

Invaluable, @gregory. I really hope Bubble bases the success of this course on # of apps actually applying your process v. just video views! You've made two of the key building blocks (payment + OpenAI integration) far more accessible & actionable than other tutorials out there.

I lost the button turning grey if the fields aren’t filled in once I deleted the bad conditional statement. My input fields are marked as “this input should not be empty” - and I’ve played around a bit recreating the page. Every time I delete that condition, it kills the grey button if the input fields are blank. Any help?
@gregory-john4 күн бұрын
Can you elaborate on 'it kills the grey button' ? I suggest deleting the existing button and just replacing it with a new one. Start fresh.

Thank you Greg, you gave the lessons with a lot of positive and reaffirming energy. I think I've never before invested this many hours into a course. This is partly due to my great interest into becoming a great bubble developer, but also due to the positive style and perfect tempo of your lessons. Thank you so much and I hope to see more of your content!

What made you demonstrate the Bubble API connector instead of the Stripe API Plugin by Bubble?
@gregory-john6 күн бұрын
Bubble is working on a new Stripe plugin for 2025. It's a little limited at the moment and until then, I wanted to demonstrate how to use the API connector as it gives you full access to all of Stripe's products.
