It looks good. I wonder why you did not show the when the user was doing abseiling. 2) What is the parapet made of is there any requirement for the parapet if it is single brick parapet can we still do abseiling?

I work in cliffs securing, ropes are usually really dirty and abrasive (lot of drilling dust). Wear of our descenders is really an issue, for example even the new Petzl lasts less than 6 months !!! If I only we could find stronger descenders... Didn't find any solution yet

07/20/2022 Hello Halo rigging. I like this video. Music but no amateur fireman trying to explain how to tie a figure 8 knot or the endless looping of a patient in a basket. I like this tool. It is large. It is clean. It makes this reeve system such that rope twists are all but eliminated. Confusion is eliminated for rapid setup. This system is redundant with multiple back ups. This is a very clean rig. I will buy one of these halo's very soon. Sincerely Don

I used one of the original rigging wrench setups with a pinto pulley. This new setup is an improvement in form and function, especially with the one way pulley. The system really shines when rigging peices from 60-200lbs. Unfortunately the system has some major drawbacks. Rope will easily feed through one direction, but requires significant force in the other direction. If you attempt to rig a piece that is too light, or need to pull the working end to tie it on, you are fighting a significant amount of friction. Petzl has a similar concept rigging device called the L1D. It flawlessly executes what the Rigging Wrench is attempting to achieve: ball bearing lift, and friction lower. The main advantage of the L1D is the minimal effort to move an unloaded rope, simple, compact design, and similar friction with varying ropes. There's also less setback and a swivel eye, but the main advantage is the ability to rig from 30-300lbs while being able to move the line unloaded. The Rigging Wrench is really neat, but has minimal appeal for practical use in tree work.

I see the Rocker more like a security device, in addition to your rappelling mechanism (figure 8, Reverso...).

Bravo. One of the simpler systems of this type I've ever seen. The central part of the system is shown beautifully. It is a pity that the anchor points and work around them are not shown, because it's also interesting.

Любое нахождение на высоте требует ДВЕ точки одновременного прикрепления. И если вы с этой консоли свесите рабочий канат, то страховочный, будьте добры, присоедините за иную точку прикрепления.

Hello, sir. I am Ratno Hadi from Indonesia. me and my friends have just formed a nature lover organization and in it there is a rock climbing division. but there is a problem with the completeness of the equipment. maybe you have used rock climbing equipment that is still suitable for use whether it's Harness, Quickdraw, helmet, carabiner, climbing shoes, climbing rope, or anything related to rock climbing. you can give it to us, to help the development of our organization. This is my wa number. +6285231302451. thank you

McGinn Tree L.L.C. I might have some videos later using it in a span rigging configuration over a house and porch. I love how smooth and fast and simple it is. Makes me feel more at ease sending certain peices. Knowing my ground guy can one hand hold the price and use his other hand to direct it. Very Very useful peice of gear in my opinion.

According to manual, the lanyard should have a maximum length 25cm? Only how to do it in practice? ou can see that even the author of the movie has a problem to find such a short sling. The set on the film has min. 30cm... Maybe it's time to do something with this requirement in manual?
@FreakyLeJo
@FreakyLeJo Жыл бұрын
25cm is almost impossible with any quickdraw. Most combinations of Sling with one carabiner is already at 25cm. Singing Rock has the Locker (same style device) and they atleast offer a Sling that could be used directly at the Harness. But yes, the 25cm connector cannot be fulfilled with a quickdraw in my opinion, only with a single carabiner
