I work in husqvarna service and all i can say husqvarna engineers ar dumb!

Seeing alot of this lately on all kinds of items. What is going on? It's like after decades of producing a product, the engineers have forgotten what they used to be capable of.

@@sawlgoodis the little clip that caused the damage to prevent the divider in the intake "flapping around" ? And If so would it cause an issue if removed from the get go
@sawlgood9 ай бұрын
@@theautisticarborist6846 I dont think it would be an issue. the rubber boot is not super stiff but its not so floppy i would think it would cause a problem. Yeah nas best i can tell its to prevent potential fluttering

@@sawlgoodthat's interesting, seeing this video has kinda put me off trying the mkiii, I wanted to get one ported from new as I heard they wake up & go like stink !!! I've currently got a stock mkii t540 and a t540ixp battery saw

@@theautisticarborist6846 I’ve been doing more research and there are several others who have experienced the same thing I did. I don’t think I’ll be building another one but you never know
@TsunauticusIV10 ай бұрын
Wow that’s absurd. They obviously put that clip in there because they had fluttering issues with that cruddy divider. What an absolute failure of a design fix. They should absolutely cover the price of a new saw for you. Warranty won’t cover that? If not I’d be on the phone, email, text, and morse code with corporate until they got sick of me and got me a replacement.

Not much of a warranty after you port the saw
@sawlgood10 ай бұрын
Yeah I have no intentions of trying to get this covered under warranty after having ported the saw. It’s all part of the game and I learned a lot from the process. The failures are part of the process it just sucks this was not due to any fault of mine. Life goes on!

Why did you sprinkle saw dust between those two wedges?
@sawlgood11 ай бұрын
The sawdust adds some friction that keeps them from popping out when you’re hammering them in, in reality it’s completely unnecessary here, simply just muscle memory lol
