Can someone tell me that how he decided that the patient is 35 yrs old ? Though the patient nor doctor have said anything ? Can you please tell me how to put age on scribe chart ?

She noticed that it exacerbated over the last week, especially in the morning, and tried to manage it with cortisone and a hot compress to alleviate the itching and irritation. The patient has a history of regular dermatological check-ups with Dr. Yu, which she schedules annually. Her next dermatologist appointment is set for six months from now.

How u can text so fast and cant miss what doctor-patient says? Is it recorded and u will text later all the details because i cant imagine myself texting all these deatils without missing anything, paying attention to their conversation in real time, unless i can relisten the whole thing again if it gets recorded....

I'm sorry...but NO normal person uses this wording....while helpful, the "patient" needs to speak normally...example....instead of left flank....left side....suprapubic....groin....I've been in the medical field for 30 years....NO ONE SPEAKS THIS WAY.

For freshers I would to say what you see in this video is totally different from what you actually encounter. There will not be like this direct questions and answers.

So scribes are the doctor who does not have any official medical degrees or licence. 😒 I mean that scribe just wrote everything by him/herself with little hint from the actual talking doctor. We can call scribes Doctor Lite version

This would be acceptable to do after gaining some experience first. Many new scribes may struggle to get a grasp on how to most efficiently fill out a EMR properly that they legitimately may not have the time or skill to also pay attention to their surroundings. This tip is really useful for someone who isn't new to scribing, but may have still have held onto a habit they developed when they weren't as proficient as they are when they've gotten used to the job.
