Midnight camo (black & greys) and Multicam black are two close but different purposely developed camos.

Advice from someone that spent 23.2 years in Scout Recon... Black is the worse shade you can use for camouflage. But everyone does it for tact-i-cool not for practical.

I’m no expert either but I think if you would have done that last layer in a dark dark grey it would have been even better. And there’s tons of videos showing how to place the stencils. Pretty dang good for a stab in the dark though lol

Heyyy!!! Thanks for choosing my challenge first! This was way more informative than I had expected! First off, congrats on your first 10 count KO; Always catches me off guard, haha. I hope you don’t mind, but I’m gonna drop a decent amount of feedback. Back to the video - it’s awesome!! I really liked how you gave your thoughts and advice while the match was happening; doing that alone lets me know that you got some really good stamina. (I’ve tried to talk on my own, but I end up being quite incoherent and forgetful when I do - mostly due to the fact that I’m focused on trying to breathe and not die, haha.) I think giving your thoughts the way you do really helps your video stand out. You sound informed, structured and knowledgeable - all while you’re in the middle of performing. It kept me engaged from beginning to end. A lot of the things you were saying I also agree with (i.e striking first and striking last) Well done! I especially liked that you shared the data you were recording for one of your students - again very informative! I think the editing was decent as well - there’s not too much flair and sparkle, but it doesn’t take away from anything from your video, and that’s really important. Editing can negatively impact a video; keeping it simple and straightforward does well to avoid this and over-editing. That being said, don’t be afraid to try new things, if time permits - there’s room to grow! And feel free to ask me, if you’d like - I don’t mind sharing my production tips and tricks! Lastly - I love the movie Virtuosity! Washington and Crowe were awesome in it! I've probably watched it like 10 times (Lots of people don’t even know that they starred in a movie together, haha) - it definitely inspired my handle :) Awesome work, brother! Seriously, keep it up! I already subbed and I’m excited to see what you want to share next!

Saw a similar video where the guy does a really light spot spray over with black again just to soften the edges of the stripes and it slightly darkens the greens and other colors. Finish off with 3-4 separate coats of matte clear coat finish to preserve the finish longer.

You have to prep the plastic surfaces before painting or the paint isn't going to stick.
@bigdumbchannel2 жыл бұрын
Every color the sticked pretty good except that yellow. How would you recommend treating the plastic? I'm new to painting
@T0tenkampf2 жыл бұрын
@@bigdumbchannel There are a lot of types of actual plastic dyes that penetrate the plastic for use in the automotive industry on interior parts. Look up plastic adhesion promoter type products from companies like Eastwood, Colorbond, SEM, and even Rustoleum. It is often best to use the dyes of the same brand since they may be formulated to work together.
@T0tenkampf2 жыл бұрын
The Fusion All in One should have worked. Also best to wash parts in warm soapy water. Dry off with lint free towels. Then clean again with Sprayway glass cleaner and lastl;y a tack rag. I am sure those parts are injection molded and may have had some sort of release agent on them?
