Hello sir, I have Roland x6 keyboard. When I set tone on live setting in it, some tones take 1 to 2 seconds to load due to which there is problem in playing my keyboard. Please tell me the solution to this problem.

Nice channel. The Fantom X8 was my main studio board for over 10 years until I sold it in 2021. I miss the incredible piano-like keybed and the Japanese build quality. I don't miss the bulky size, heavy weight, and the aging interface. My unit was about 16 years old when I decided to sell, as I sensed it was going to need repairs soon, and I didn't want to put more money into it. It was definitely one a kind, though. I miss that piano hammer action WITH aftertouch on the X8 more than anything.

This actually works surprisingly well! I have the Fantom XR and the interface isn't great but this feature is still here.

That is such a cool feature, Im waiting on my Fantom X61 today (7/27/22) by UPS to get here !! This is the 2nd time I buy one, I like it much more than the new generation Fantom, in fact much more !!

If you have one (XA) look in the manual. If you mdont have the XA dont get one, they have a very toyish cheap keybed...get the Fantom X !!

The best ways to achieve this is to assign the patches to the pads using sysex, check on roland clan forum

Hell brother can you guide us on how do we change the patch after re recording. Whenever I finish recording and later when I change the patch it just take over the existing recorded patch

The JV-1080 was the rack module, you buffoon. 🙄 There was the JV-80, but that was before those. The XP series were the equivalent keyboard models.

You'll need an old Mac to use these. E is the english version, J Japanese.

One of the Multi Effects is a 2-voice pitch shifter that adds extra notes, but it doesn't sing within a key, it's just parallel motion so it sounds weird in most cases.

I miss these video ! Roland was way ahead of the production curve. Almost sold my Fantom FA-76 and my X6 , but glad i hung on to them.

Hi Bobcatt22, thank you for watching the Fantom X demo videos. All of the recent ones I've uploaded aren't mine and I don't take credit for them. They're Roland product videos from 2004. I downloaded these videos years ago. The reason that I've decided to upload them to KZbin is because they're not found anywhere now. Roland doesn't even have them on their website. I want other Fantom X owners/enthusiasts to enjoy them as much as I do. I agree that they're well produced and I wish there were more of them. There are more videos on the way this week. I also appreciate your comment.

Wow - nice - how can this be? Thumbs up. I am willing to pay for tutorials for my X8. Ed Diaz is one of the best teachers however there are just a few tutorials from him.

Can you tell how to make a custom rythm set with several sampled patches, and especially how to store them so it can be used in performance mode? i'd like to use the pads during a solo.. i can assign my patches to the pad bank, but can't seem to store it, so it can be easely selected without having to load the samples individually.. during a gig there's simply no time to do that. Would be great if anyone could help me out with this
