I have a 2007 chev tahoe as well.. when I turn the key nothing happens. Usually I would shake the red wire going from the alternator to the lil black box mounted on the firewall near the battery and it would start right up after I hear a click sound.. but now nothings happening and it won't start. The battery is new. Any ideas?

I'm converting my non-camera into a camera one. I found one at the junkyard so I'm going to be putting that in. Thanks man! 👍

Pretty bad advice with the unspoken implication at 0:30 that the two D-clips are "sharing" the weight of the engine. The angle of the three chains at the end (including the one heading up to the hoist) was roughly 120° - 120° - 120°, which means the tensions in all the chains were equal and each D-clip was seeing the FULL WEIGHT of the engine. Basic free body diagram. A the shock/dynamic loading from lowering it so jerkily would spike that right through the roof. And you're out there using clips that can take "a body weight", which is frequently less than half an engine. All in all, you're just lucky the D clips have such a high safety factor, you were fully relying on that safety factor which isn't what safety factors are for.

What about the top corner holes? What goes in there? Pressure caps or bolts

It would have been helpful to have spent a little time showing how to remove and replace the belt.

Hi! Thank you for the video, is my first time that I will change a radiator. It is the same for the cutlass 3.3l?
@ronniel.70145 ай бұрын
Two things,this is a GM car,use the Dextron coolant.However,there is the 150,000 miles coolant that is for virtually all cars available,that can be used. Also,use the opportunity of when the radiator is removed to clean the back of the condenser with ac coil cleaner in a can that foams up.Let it set a few minutes then rinse with a GENTLE stream of water.Sure,more dirt accumulates on the front but I'm sure there is some on the back as well.And,that allows more airflow for your radiator.

Great video and use of visual examples. It felt like there should have been an ending to the video to close it all out and maybe even your monkey logo guy to close out the video. I felt rushed through the video. Just trying to help! Thanks. To confirm, the crankshaft is within the lower block? Essentially, the block is mainly to create combustion, correct? To keep the pistons moving?

Carlos's thank you for posting video. Im having issue my 2017 jeep unlimited. The drivers side door keeps locking on me when key is in the ignition. So if i step out with key off but in the ignition the drivers side door keeps locking. To a point im always opening window on that door so i dont lock myself out. Its only happing to that door. I could walk around to other side and that's unlocked. The dealer is telling me its the inner door handel. Both inner and outer seem fine open and close using handels no issue. Just constantly locking on drivers side only. I cant picture what dealer is telling me. That its the inner door handel is broken. I feel more electrical that keeps locking it, or an actuator. Any thoughts on this, need help

This is a poor video as this only covers 1/4 of the work necessary. You have to remove items from the vehicle to gain access, then if your pulley doesn't have the holes in it you have to revome the pulley and then remove the pump, then you have to install the new pump and then put the pulley back on the new pump (again if your pulley doesn't have the holes) Then you have to put all the items you took off to gain access. Also new pumps dint come with a pulley so the old pulley has to be removed and installed. Then you have to bleed the system to get any air out.
