I got the Amani Bear back in the day, it was a very fun instance to run, some of my most memorable times in wow were from Vanilla - BC - Wrath, to my first raiding guild, The Order of Diligence, It has been 11 years since I last talked to you guys, I hope you are all doing well and have had a happy and fulfilling life since we last saw each other at Blizzcon, I miss you very much my friends.

Elitist Jerks had the absolute theorycrafting forum back in the day. They were the most strict place wow has ever seen too. You were banned in minutes in the mere insinuation you're not being very constructive (I'm not talking trolling: they were banning people immediately for the mere notion of not reading questions already answered).

He makes amazing Raid and dungeon content in WOW in his current place. Problem is, the people under him, doing the story and lore and additional content are scrubs.

To be fair, DPS and healing were so much lower back in the day. A weird strategy like this was considered min maxing just because we couldn't do any better.

We ran with a resto shaman, holy priest, and resto druid that would do a lot of the pulls by stealing ahead and pulling mobs back to us. We also ran a prot paladin and prot warrior tank so big pulls were common. The only issue we ever had was that our shaman had a corrupted version of a quest add on that would disconnect her (basically overloaded her game client) after the gong two weeks in a row so our times were screwed up for a few weeks. I was on my warlock as demo and had to constantly dismiss my pet since we were jumping through windows for short cuts.

And yet, despite this he thinks that players aren't going to min-max anything and everything. Despite him being the GM of the guild that made min-maxing to the extreme mainstream. So either he's out of touch, or he realizes he made a mistake but pandora's box is opened.
