Great and insightful video on successful implementation of strategic planning. I stumbled on the YouRube video today. August 3, 2020 while searching for “Strategic Plan; Process and Implementation”. Though not in the Health services sector but it is easy for me to relate the presentation to other sector once the dynamics of that different sector is known. The questions and answers section were rich and thought provoking. Many thanks to the presenting team of Tim Prince, Heather Adkins (for using her site’s experience) and Kenneth Bonner.

Building the Hospital of Tomorrow: Rehabilitate, Renovate, or Replace Panelist: Dave Adcock, President & Principal, Long View Consulting, LLC David Schreiner, President & CEO, KSB Hospital Brad Solberg, President & CEO, Hammond-Henry Hospital Leslie Johnson, Director Lean & 6 Sigma, Graham Health System Program Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2014 - 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM CST Program Description: In today’s competitive marketplace, significant capital expenditure decisions can make or break a healthcare organization and the career of the executives(s) tasked with such decisions. No capital decision may be greater than the construction of a new facility or the substantial renovation of an existing one. After years of relative dormancy, the healthcare construction boom continues throughout the U.S. for a variety of reasons, many of which impact both small community hospitals and large urban health systems alike. The most common reasons for the renovations, expansions, and replacements include aging facilities, population growth, market demand, and the need to improve operational efficiencies. Additionally, competition moves organizations to incorporate the latest advances in care delivery, medical technology, new building codes and healing design elements to enhance the patient experience through the surrounding environment. Changes in building codes and patient safety standards also drive the need for construction and modification. Please join Central Illinois American College of Healthcare Executives and David Schreiner, Brad Solberg, David Adcock and Leslie Johnson for this 90-minute panel discussion via webinar.
