Remember, Marc isn't trying to imitate Freddie. He's not trying to duplicate a specific performance or the album a song is on. These are his own performances, the same way Freddie sang songs somewhat differently, night to night. Also, Freddie sang with older, analog audio equipment. Marc is singing with modern, digital equipment. They're going to naturally sound a bit different. There have been a couple people who've taken both Marc's and Freddie's vocals, remixed songs so both audio tracks sounded as much alike as possible, and put them online as videos. You couldn't tell the difference, when the person switched back and forth between Freddie and Marc.
