I am getting so emotional typing this because in this short clip of the news in my opinion you are so uber intelligent and awe inspiring. It is so refreshing to see young folks profiled on the news and not the stereotypical things that typically take center stage sort of speak. Keep inspiring, I love you, I love your uncle for taking you the all day wknd cinemas, I love your great grandmother on 3rd and Keefe. I love it all. Jerry Kramer is one of the best human beings ever! To represent the Green Bay Packers and Vince Lombardi era with great history to fans all over the world. His books on the Packer teams were a great in site on how football was played in those days. A long wait to finally become a Hall of Famer in 2018 made alot of fans very happy! God Bless you Jerry! Keep telling those stories of those great Lombardi teams! I never get tired of them! ❤

"You don't need external validation"? Yes, you do. I'm pretty sure that's what gets you employed in the real world. You can validate yourself all you want to but at the end of the day, unless you're born wealthy or win the lottery etc., you have to answer to someone. How would that go over in terms of dealing with the IRS, say? I get that external validation involves competition on certain levels, and that proponents of participation-trophy logic are averse to the idea of a winning/losing binary, but to implement the kind of nonsense proffered by these people would be disastrous in that mean old real world. That must be why this video has less than a hundred views, because I don't exactly see this coddling silliness taking off like a rocket, unless it's the Challenger. And if anyone perceives this as putting the actual Stoicism as espoused by Aurelius et al into practical application, then we're living in the dead center of Baudrillard's crisis of meaning. Aside from competition being a catalyst for inspiration and innovation, indifference to winning and losing is a far cry from being indifferent to the game which, like it or not, we all have to play.
