I got Scamed in Koh samui by the motobike rental associated to Samui Peace resort hotel. What i learned is to always take insurrance :D Scam worked this way : they loosen some screw around the engine (more likely related to carburator) After driving few miles, screw will break and you will losse the engine control. Motobike will accelerate strongly by itself and you will have an accident. Everything related to rental in Thailand is scamed, be carefull, you should also always take video before and after (to prevent for the scratch/impact scam), and if the Thai guy is already getting angry before when filming, just cancel the rental and go somewhere else We are just money for them Also Police will never fight for you, they are often part of scams

i eat there a lot every time I am in Pattaya. The lasagna special they have once a week is really good. Everything else is reasonably priced, the place is clean and comfortable. you can sit outside on the balcony and watch the world go by or sit inside in the air conditioning. Lots of TVs to watch. The toilet is fine. The bar is nice. I never had a bad meal. And sometimes if a little under the weather, get the chicken rice soup porridge thing. So good with the garlic they crumble in it. Get some extra lemon and squeeze it in. A little bit like the greek egg and lemon chicken soup.
