How often does a block need to be decked.....or is all the work always done on the heads?

When it's out of spec. You check it with a straight edge and feeler guage. If it fails you need to have the block gone through

Respect dude 🤙 This is a tough job in the shop with all the tools available, let alone doing it mobile. Nice that surfer dude was able to help out! Much prefer the earlier 6.7's where the intake bolts could be completely removed. The later ones I usually hold them up with rubber bands, they catch on everything! Nice job 🤘
