I’m almost 40 and I remember being able to ride this at 8 years old. I was there yesterday with my son, and I was telling him that at one point, this ride had a VR and as I was telling it, it felt like a fever dream because I rode it once with the VR and never saw it again. Had to google it to make sure I wasn’t making things up. 😂

For those wondering…Six Flags lost its license agreement with Warner Bros. So they couldn’t use trademark Looney Toons anymore. These weird aliens (spelunker cave) was the original cave ride back in the 60s, so they went back to that. Fun Fact: this version of the ride came out before Disney’s potc ride

So I was in 8th grade when I went and it was the “maiden voyage” of the ride. I rode with my dad and we were like “this is a pretty cool ride. The thins look like Alf and a troll doll had a baby. We get to the very last scene, right at the end of the tunnel and nothing was working. It was quiet and dark and I was so scared.

When the talent of the singers and dancers is overshadowed by ridiculous space suit/robot outfits, the show is ruined. Zero continuity or theme. Laughable and sad. I would've walked out after "Sky Full of Stars" once I saw it was all the same, dancers in silly costumes singing pop songs to backing tracks. Horrible use of talent. Terrible show with no point.

I remember when I was 5 I went to fright fest with my family and we’re in that part with all the scary stuff and people and with it being dark and me being five I lost my family and of course the actors didn’t know so they were just jump scaring me and I didn’t know what to do but I found my family and I’m ok Overall 10/10 experience 😊

It sadly wasn’t opened the two days I visited last month. I did get on everything else though. Definitely an awesome park. Shockwave, Titan and Runaway Mountain as well as the dark ride were all really welcome surprises. Aquaman is the coolest water ride I’ve ever been on. Watching it on video tells you nothing.
