Is it possible that the egzumer radio has the VOX on? Turn it off to prevent this

The problem is from activating the VOX function, deactivate VOX and everything returns to normal!

Looking like your Mic pins inside radio might be JUST TOUCHING even thought its unplugged if this happens more then a few times and can be tricky to repair..

Both my K5 and K6 sometimes do this after I flash firmware with UVMOD (PTT activates when keypad buttons are pressed). I usually just reflash or load into Chirp and then reupload to radio. No clue why it does it sometimes and not others.
