A pinafore is like a slightly fancy apron that you put over your outfit for play time or chores or what have you. The structure of it has inspired some modern day ones that are actually dresses sewed like a pinafore.

This outfit looks great on Evette! It's nice to see it looks good on other dolls that gives people options. I agree the price point is too high but I got it for free because I used reward points and it was on sale! So glad I got it because Claudie looks amazing in it!

I got it on sale a little while ago, and I like it, but I am afraid to put the capelet on Evette. I think her hair will get messed when I take it off. I really got it to complete my Claudie Wells collection more than anything. I think lea would look good in it too btw but I don't have lea.

She's gorgeous! I'd definitely take her to the movie, but hold onto her. Be prepared for a lot of questions from kids on where you got her. Her hair sounds like mine. I was born very curly. I hated it until my mom finally let me grow it long, then it was more wavy with small curls at the shorter pieces. When I want it straight, I go to the salon to get it flat ironed.

Would you say there is a skin tone difference between this doll and the inspired by belle 18” doll you dressed in the Maribel outfit? I’m trying to see if there’s any other differences between the two besides hair length

You're the first African American collector to unbox the doll that I've seen. And you said she does have Orange in her skin. I was told by an AG employee that her skin was mostly Orange (an African American employee). And so far only Caucasian collectors have reviewed her and claim that the skintone is true to her nationality. I want the doll,but I'll have to see her for myself before I can decide whether or not to purchase her
