My most beloved song 'Why Don't We Spend The Night' when I was young and living in South Africa! Now I'm old and living in Sweden and found the song on KZbin last week and also that Joe Fagin had moved on :'( R I P Joe and hope to hear you in the 'next phase' ♡

Thank you for a great interview with Joe Fagan. I have just been listening to his songs on Spotify. What a great singer! I didn't know that he died last September. A great talent who will be missed by many.

Just found this after learning about his passing. Loved the songs he did for Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, but didn't know much else about him. Great interview, he seemed like a lovely man.

Joe Fagin ,was always the 8th Member of Auf Weidersehen Pet , When you heard thos cords strike up we were off to the Building Site . Sadly when Joe stopped singing the New series of "AUF Pet " , it was not the same ! . Loved the track - Breakin Away ... it just about summed up how we Guys get at times .

I'm so pleased to find this video of Joe, and see him doing well! I was often at his house in Brixton around the early 80's as I played in a band with his stepson. He was always very accommodating and such a funny guy too. He used to do an occasional gig with a drummer and pianist at a pub in Camberwell, where he sang and played bass - always to a full house ... his cover of Stevie Wonder's 'Sir Duke' was amazing! He's unlikely to remember me but please pass my best wishes to him. Merry Christmas to all!

It’s a great privilege and honour to have been working with such a legend. Jo truly is a legend and down to earth guy! He still has all the euphorias of a young man and still going strong. God bless him!

Wow! Glad to see he’s doing well! Hello from the United States. I love his 1982 song, “Younger Days” (No. 80 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, his only ever American hit single) Interesting that he worked with some military man nowadays. Hmm...
