So who has right of way entering the parking lot from the Main Street or roadway
@TeenDrivingPlan
@TeenDrivingPlan Ай бұрын
The car entering the parking lot from the Main Street or roadway has the right-of-way over cars exiting the parking lot. However, pedestrians in the parking lot still have the right-of-way over cars entering from the Main Street or roadway. It would have been helpful to also say how often scanning should happen. I told my young student to do it at least every 30 seconds! YMMV😊

Very Helpful video! Praise Jesus For that! all Glory to Jesus Christ forver. God bless you, Jesus Christ loves you, He came and died on a cross for all mankind and God raised him from the dead 3 days later so that Anyone who repents of their sins and accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior can be forgiven of their sins and be saved from hell.

maybe some of the hints give some advice to new drivers, but 1. if you did not learn how to change lanes, don't drive on highways 2. on three lane highways - for God sake - don't drive in the middle lane! it's absolutely against the keep right rules and dangerous to all other drivers.

So what about a parking garage. Say one person is turning to go up the ramp and someone going down turns into them. Who is at fault? Who would have the right of way?

some that I know do not realize they are to move to allow on ramps to be allowed to come on. They feel they need to yield so they feel they do not have to. Kinda selfish of them. I understand yes you do not have to. But you should. They do not feel the way I do.

1:18 could you clarify what you mean by continue driving on the shoulder?
@TeenDrivingPlan
@TeenDrivingPlan 2 жыл бұрын
When trying to enter the highway with a shoulder (space to the right of the road typically reserved for emergency stopping only), if there is no space to merge into the travel lane and the acceleration lane ends, continue driving briefly on the shoulder until a safe space opens up. By taking extra time to accelerate and match the speed of traffic, it will be easier to merge onto the roadway when the safe space opens as opposed to stopping in the acceleration lane and trying to get into a spot from a stopped position. Please note this is a teaching tool and some states may have specific rules and regulations regarding driving on the shoulder

Please help me I was in an accident not tooling ago on an uncontrolled intersection at a residential area. We were both going straight towards our direction, no one is trying to turn left or right and I was comming to her left and she was comming to my right. I know I went ahead of her first across the intersection but she kept going towards me I immediately stepped on my breaks and turned my wheels away from her but she kept comming straight at me so my car ended up going all the way to the left and now I have a ticket from the police that I have failed you yieled at the right of way. I'm thinking if I should do a mitigation or contest it on the hearing

I failed a test because approaching an uncontrolled intersection I stopped due to lack of visibility, I could only see houses, trees, bushes and cars. The examiner told me: somebody could have just saw there was no traffic and assume you had the right of way and accelerate then hitting you from behind.... How the FFFFF if I cannot see, the driver behind will??? This is the perfect loophole for examiners to fail you and keep you paying road tests.... As everyone mentions here, how about just throwing a damn stop sign.
