I love this song but is there a better version? Maybe a Flac-File? This seems to be 128 kbit and it's really bad on big speakers.

I have a second by second vision of this song. It is so intense and the same every time. It is a prime time dance sequence with tap dance and costumes and the back curtain comes up during the key change and there are even more dancers coming down in concentric circles with costumes on, ya'll, i visualize this every time, and the guy winks at the end and then turns into a dolphin and swims away. it is THE BEST visual ever

Thanks for All the Fish was produced by Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum. Both, longtime members and fellow travelers of the Hollywood Left! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Barber en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Birnbaum - has contributed $182,000 to various Democrat Party, candidates, groups, state level parties, etc. - EXCLUSIVELY! Open FEC link below. While these two men were very high up in Hollywood film production, all such producers are driven by succeeding in making profits for the movies they produce. Like all of us, they are whores and prostitutes for the "almighty dollar" for themselves and both are very rich by any middle-class or poverty standards. They are definitely in the "haves" class, the bourgeois class in Marxist terms. So, they really are the very target of their own rhetoric. They attack "capitalism" and support every PC - leftist - collectivist alarmism of the apocalyptic future, all due to man's presence and "ignorant domination" and ruination of Planet Earth. They condemn man and capitalism through all their narrative messaging while they rake in millions upon millions of dollars from it. YOU SIMPLY MUST CLICK ON THIS LINK: (for objective truth) Birnbaum's actual political contributionns! www.fec.gov/data/receipts/individual-contributions/?contributor_name=BIRNBAUM%2C+ROGER&min_date=01%2F01%2F1996&max_date=12%2F31%2F2016 Man is the dominant living being on the planet! Yes, we can destroy things, use things and make things from nothing that no other animal is capable. But the worse type of "man" is one who wishes to forcibly control another and Roger Birnbaum is just such a person. His support of the agenda to expand and collect more power into the halls of government, to make laws that he prefers that use government to tax away from labor their production and then regulate through hired bureaucratic hordes to inflict his desired control is the very description of an authoritarian.

Just (re)watched this movie last night. Halfway through the credits I realized I recognized this voice... Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy! I love his music and it tickled me to hear him singing a song from one of my favorite stories ever (I can't pin Hitchhiker's Guide down to one medium, it's great in all of its various adaptations).

The last ever dolphin message was misinterpreted as a surprisingly sophisticated attempt to do a double-backwards-somersault through a hoop whilst whistling the "Star Spangled Banner", but in fact the message was this:

+Pedro Lopes Wikipedia says this "The first version of the song "So Long, and Thanks For All The Fish" is a Broadway-style, lively version sung by the dolphins before they leave Earth. The second plays over the end credits and is in the style of Smooth jazz. The song was written by English composer Joby Talbot, conductor Christopher Austin, and director Garth Jennings and performed by the Tenebrae Choir. Neil Hannon, founder and frontman of the Irish pop group The Divine Comedy, of which Talbot is a former member, lent his vocals to the version of the song played during the end credits. " and this "The enclosed booklet includes acknowledgements from Joby Talbot and notes on the creation of the song "So Long and Thanks for All the Fish", written by Garth Jennings.[citation needed]". Sorry about the block.
