You should see a company out of Vancouver Canada called Synjuko Industries their green tech is very nice one of the greenest concept out there that I have seen they seem to be doing okay. The parent company out of Vancouver Canada as well is called Baynsworth and Lloyd Holdings Inc. They do economic development foucsing on government contract procurement solutions. I guess they do contracts for the government.

...Born and raised in California and working in the utility industry is where the markets experience scarcity events about 2-3 weeks per year during heat events which normally occur late August/September. Generally speaking the grid needs help between 4 pm to 9 pm whereas prior the grid needed help between 12 pm to 6 pm. During the Sept 6th, 2022 heat event in hours between 5 pm to 6:00 PM our grid was about 10-15 minutes from critical event (CAISO calling rolling outages) Our Governor sent out an "Amber Alert" to 27 million California citizens and we voluntarily dropped reduced our electrical load by average of 2,000 MW (it was up 2600 MW) and thus avoided rolling outages. Thus we can say the markets responded with clean demand response. !! That's the power of the citizen markets. The CEO of CAISO issued a public thank you!

The biggest barrier to a clean energy future in the US is the fantasy that "renewables" will ever be able to replace fossil fuels. The only energy source that can do that is advanced nuclear and as good as that energy source, it will take many decades even with full public support. Renewables have full support but they are very low density, intermittent sources that will never replace fossil fuels.
