I purchased one of these... it's a raccoon feeder. The raccoon ate 2 cans of tuna and it never triggered.. garbage.

Yep we hunt there. I do not recommend staying at the camp site alone. We were woken up to something screaming like a T-Rex,forcing us to lock and load, or rifles. We are not sure what it was, but we decided to stay up all night, and not go back to sleep. We used out headlamps to scout the area, and we didn't anything but kept hearing a lot of screaming and growing in the area. I am not making this up guys, this is real and it happened at the hunters camp at 2.14 am

@@2025HANDLE The growling and screams are probably large feral hogs and maybe large cats. 🤝

Do you leave this grill outside?
@THESPORTINGCAMP2 ай бұрын
Yes but make sure you keep it clean and out of the rain. Additionally use canola oil or crisco lard oil to keep it from rusting. It will rust fast if neglected, especially in humid climates. If you have a garage to keep it in that will help as well.

Hello, I use hot water and a plastic scraper and remove all build up on both sides. It’s not perfect but this has become my favorite go to grill. 🔥

Consider your release strategy. Releasing an raccoon/opossum 2-3 miles from the capture sight is an effort in futility. The same with a "bunny" or squirrel at 1-2 miles, as the research shows the return rate to their home range is almost 100%. If the target animal is causing a problem (pest) you are better off euthanizing it and not giving someone else the "problem" as wildlife DOES NOT change it's lifestyle to suit urban or suburban environs. The search for Food, Cover, and Water continues everyday in Ma Nature's survival game and she produces wildlife as a "crop" every year. If conditions exist to supply an animal's needs they will find them and set up "housekeeping" duties. Many states have restrictions on relocating "Live Trapped" wildlife for a host of reasons that are supported by years and mountains of research so before you set the trap and want to do the "Disney" belief of release, better check what is legal and ethical where you live...........my experience. .........the mike
