Iv heard people say sharps rule proves in John 20:28 that Thomas is calling Jesus God. While i agree that it is is that a misuse of the rule if the second noun is articular as well?

Are you sure the interlocutor is an imaginary Jewish one? Paul later says “I appeal to you brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them."(16:17). Rather than Jews from the synagogue, just a Christian false teacher like in Galatians calling for Gentiles to observe the torah and Christ.. I'm trying to follow those rhetoric devices you mentioned

I like how Dr Hildebrandt puts things into perspective. I've had many gay friends, I even had atheist for friends. He's exactly correct. We may not like what the person does but we should love the person. We've all have sinned and imagine that time we were sinners, if Christians or anyone else treated you badly because you sinned. I was a terrible sinner when a friend came to me and shared the gospel. We should think where we have been and where we are now, and give everyone else the same chance. We should be an example to others to how Christ is like.

Mt life is a nightmare because it seems like I am in a story in which the author makes me a professional and financial failure compared to the parents Bonnie and Terry Tipton, as well as the sister Shawn Noone, her husband Jeremy Noone and their sons. It is an absolute nightmare every day for me. Ok, so how did they become morally perfect and have nothing but financial success while I torment in failure in Las Vegas, Nevada, Does the author want me to worship and ask detailed questions on how to be morally perfect people? Bonnie and Terry Tipton have attended Shadow Hills Baptist Church of Las Vegas since 1990. I just find it hard to believe either one believes they have ever made mistakes. The vast majority of time I have been with them I have witnessed them condescending people they watch on television, from NFL players to fictional characters on drama shows. I graduated with a BS in mechanical engineering in 1995 from the University of Arizona. I think I am pretty desperate to get away from the house of Bonnie and Terry Tipton. It sems like my role in life is to hear how perfect the other people are until I am driven into as deep a depression as possible. I am firmly convinced Bonnie and Terry Tipton believe they exercised perfect judgement their whole lives, and have been pretty much morally perfect. My life is a nightmare with them and in Las Vegas. I do not have a car. I do have enough cash to rent a vehicle for a few days. I do not have a phone. I do think Bonnie and Terry Tipton do believe I should view them as the manifestation of moral perfection on Earth with perfect judgement, and as an inferior human being. I have never been comfortable with them. I have been trapped in dependency on their government pensions.

I wonder if the belief that the cosmos are based on justice, which the author(s) of Job are trying to communicate is not the case, is understood to come from the knowledge of good and evil? Are we as believers in Yahweh to be taken to a place beyond good and evil?

this was video taped probably before 2007, since Bruce Metzger died in 2007. Hildebrandt retired in 2020. ... When Hildebrandt was talking about the problems in Israel, I'm sure that would've been an understatement considering the issues Israel is going through now. And for those who enjoy Hildebrandt's OT lectures, check out his Greek course videos. I had his Greek course and I think he was the better of two other professors I had for Greek.
