Saw them the first time on stage in 2002-3 ... In Bø Telemark. Their big breakthrough and tv coverage came about one week later. Was cool :)

They’re only on hiatus at the moment (a very long one almost 9 years) I discovered them back in 2017 and I felt completely the same as you when I found out they stop making music 😞
