Thank you for sharing this reflection on the birth of Christ. May those who are far away from the Lord find the love they seek in Him 🙏🏻🕯️✨✝️

Daily mass does not get nearly the public encouragement it should (like the daily rosary or chaplets do) ..This is incredible to teach people! God must be smiling. Thank you for doing this.

Two things, dear Father: 1. Your parishioners are so blessed to have a pastor who teaches the Faith so thoroughly and clearly. 2. I’m so glad you record your homilies … darn distance. Keep up the good work for the Lord, Padre. 😊

They rightly see Christ and his church as the greatest threat to their aims. Hopefully this event will allow more people will realize the grips these people have over the institutions in the west. Thank you for the video father

It seems that the governor has apologized. For my part, I accept it. Hopefully, the video was taken down. As I mentioned, she wasn’t the origin of the skit, but that doesn't change the fact that the skit itself (all those of its kind that are going around) is anti-Catholic.

Happy Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. On October 7th, 1571, the Christian and Muslim fleets entered into Battle in the bay, south of the town of Lepanto (Greece). The Muslim fleet, led by Ali Pasha, arranged in the formation of a massive quarter moon. The Christian fleet was arranged in the shape of a cross, divided into three squadrons: left, center, and right. The battle started badly for the Christians: the Muslim fleet broke through the left and center squadrons, heading right for Admiral Doria’s ship. Doria slipped down to his cabin, where he had hung the painting of Our Lady of Guadalupe, fell on his knees, and began to pray the Rosary. At that moment, the winds shifted against the Islamic fleet and scattered it. The Christians regrouped and destroyed two-thirds of the Ottoman armada. It is said that the sea was red with blood for miles around by the end of the battle. In Rome, Pope Pius V knew the Christians were victorious before a message could possibly have reached him. During a meeting in the Vatican, the pope suddenly rose up and gazed out the window, saying, “This is not a moment for business; make haste to thank God, because our fleet this moment has won a victory over the Turks.” When the official news reached Rome, Pope Pius V gave credit to the Virgin Mary. He declared October 7th the Feast of Our Lady of Victory, which we celebrate today as the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary because the victory came through the Rosary.

I pray for the souls of all who, perhaps as children or teens, didn't understand the traditions and the reasons behind them. Whenever they lived, whether during the Reformation, or the early days of Modernism, or in the years immediately following post-Vatican II, when Modernists took the opportunity to "take it a step further." I think of those dear to me who tried to be faithful Catholics, but much later in my life I learned that they misunderstood what they, themselves, had been taught about the "changes." May they rest in peace in the friendship of the Lord. May He look upon their love for Him and not on faults stemming from their misunderstanding.

Just sayin’ but if I had been there when you preached this, I’d’ve been subtly gesturing “preach it, Father.” Because you are sooooooooo right on so many levels. Soooooo right. So many aspects of the Church’s life have been watered down and/or deemphasized to be more palatable to modern man. Last time I checked, Jesus didn’t do that so why the heck are we? Set the bar the way God has it, the way the Church has since time immemorial and watch what happens. Lower standards, people will leave. And they have for one thing or another.
@dailybread3003 ай бұрын
It’s true… the church has catered to the modern culture rather than teaching the culture about the ways of Jesus. It’s very disheartening that marriages are being allowed for couples shacked up. We should not be catering to sin. We should be earnestly supporting the teachings of Christ and His Commandments. If we treat people as helpless dogs, they will act that way. Plus, they will lose their respect for the authorities who should have guided them to Truth and how to live it.

I love her! i am going to pray to this courageous faithful, loving Saint who persevered thru bitter suffering, and ask her intercession! I want to love God like her! I can hardly believe I am not acquainted with her! Thank you so much for the video.

Father, that was a good link. I listened to it and completely agree. I’m constantly reminding my friends that they would be less stressed and happier if they would turn off the news! It’s been proven over and over that there are so many falsities reported to us. Why waste time on what the pagans(non-believers) want us to think on. We are the ones who are Christ’s disciples! We are to tell them(the world)about repentance and forgiveness and the Kingdom!

In our diocese here in Albany NY, we don’t hear homilies about the Commandments or sins. We mostly hear about applying ourselves to the Corporal Works of Mercy, almost never about the Spiritual Works of Mercy. No one seems to know what those are, nor do most people know what sin is. So many are eating and drinking unworthily …. I fear for their physical and spiritual health.
@stedwardonthelake4 ай бұрын
That's modernism for you: serve man and not God. Human rights but no concern for God's rights. You might charitably ask your priest to preach on the Commandments or about sin. Thanks for watching!
@dailybread3004 ай бұрын
I’m so glad you pointed that out. I’ll be more careful to not allow myself to miss the verses skipped over. Wow, it makes more sense now. I wish the church would keep the whole picture together and allow us to learn the good with the bad.

t-jmj-t; thank you padre for listening, receiving, responding & sharing. Please keep it up, you are helping Our Lord reach his faithful Stewards of the word. I have personal comments on your perception of the way in which we receive our Lord (tongue and knees vs. hands [as a sign of the seat of wisdom- BVM] to tongue, then {while physically gnawing} grateful prayer and kneeling during the cleansing of the vessels-Jesus in the tomb to the Resurrection) in obedience to the Magisterium of our country, as like a sign of grateful expectation & reassurance of his grateful obedience to His God and our God - the Father. Either way, praised be Our Lord Jesus Christ, the redeemer of humanity for God our Father to bring all the lost sheep back to His fold. Peace and blessings❣️🕊️🧬🌎 your church is truly Blessed in The Church.
