I saw a comment somewhere that said... Smallville walked so that the Arrowverse could run, and the Arrowverse ran so that Superman and Lois could fly. I'd say it didn't just fly, it soared!

Arcane perfectly encapsulates the quote "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.". Such an incredible show. It would be incredible if more shows could develop characters like these. Even if the overarching story is hit or miss depending on preference etc. no one can deny that these characters are some of the best is media. Silco, Vander, Vi, Cait, Jinx, Jayce, Viktor, just everyone has such an incredible journay over these 18 episodes..

I'm guessing by now you've seen that Jinx is 99% confirmed alive, even the writers can't keep a believable poker face about it. I believe the Black Rose lady is Leblanc. She's kinda a big deal. And her calling Mel "sister" is almost certainly referencing a sisterhood rather than blood relation. Leblanc is hella old, if they keep that as part of her lore I guess. The raven with 3 eyes is also a reference to a champion from Noxus. If the next series revolves around Noxus, he'll surely be in it. I wouldn't bank on any of the characters from Arcane appearing in future series, outside maybe a cameo here or there. When you're dealing with a game of 170+ champions, you have a looot of characters to work with without reusing ones from the past. I wouldn't argue if they did, though. Fish guy is Seb. Loved your reactions. Really validates my own experience watching it for the first time. Thank you for taking the time to really talk it out afterward.

Lol if so, I really appreciate that haha if not, that's totally understandable, and I appreciate for what portions you did stay for or watching the video at all. And thanks for clearing things up, I'd heard back and forth about Jinx, but hadn't looked anything up, so thanks for letting me know. I figured we wouldn't be seeing the characters again, cause I know there's an inconceivable amount of characters lol but one could hope. I'd heard she was Leblanc afterwards, still don't really know much about her, but I figured she wasn't calling Mel blood sister. Do you know whether or not Mel just straight up killed her? I wouldn't imagine she did, since she's so old and powerful, but I don't know if the creators have anything planned for her, and maybe thought it'd be a way to show Mel really coming into her power at the final push. And most importantly... thank you for telling me Seb's name lol

@@nerdsnnuance2405 Seems she just disrupted Leblanc's spell or whatever and could see through the illusion. Leblanc said an empath could mess with other people's magic so Mel was more a nuisance to her than a danger, from what I deduced. If the next series is in Noxus, it's always possible Mel could be involved, but I'd guess they actually do a time jump backwards and show earlier developments and Champions there. I've never played the game, just got a bit into the lore due to Arcane. So I could be talking straight out my butt haha.

Did you notice that the robot thing Viktor used to attack Jayce was actually Huck's body just 'evolved'? The shoulder ornament and the green medallion. Poor Huck ;-; I think Jayce blasting Viktor just accelerated a conclusion he would have eventually reached anyway. They were already "one" but he was letting them stay mostly autonomous. It was just one world view shift away from complete enslavement. The song used during the Glorious Evolution destroyed me. Vander went through so much torment to finally just be erased. At least he got to see his girls all grown up and share a few moments of peace with them. Maybe he would have said it was all worth it. And Viktor killed his own humanity along with him. Pretty sure Sky represented his emotional core, even his humanity. Well, he won't miss it. Some people have postulated that Sky actually plays a role in Orianna's revival. An interesting concept. We end on Viktor flaying his own face in half to reveal his mask. GRACIOUS.

Tyler’s face in that last scene-so expressive. Heartbreaking, thinking it’s his last goodbye. I think Clark will survive for a last showdown with Luthor, but I have no idea what the resolution with Doomsday will be.

Vi died, meaning Jayce either got imprisoned or banished 100%. or he too died in the blast. so, no hextech. And though Powder has the unstable gemstones, by having them in a shrine it's clear she will never use them. A cool detail - Silco's eye seemed to be at least partially healed. He was able to move the eyelid in that reality. If medicine was more advanced, then perhaps Viktor would survive his disease. No hextech in his life, but actually able to invent things to help the undercity. It's likely Heimerdinger's presence in the undercity also helped improve things during the 3 years he was there. We can hope Heim just got yeeted somewhere else in the cosmos when he disappeared. IM JUST COPING OK?

@@kaihinataplays6374 I don't think they'll go that route for this show, mainly because it's ending. I think they'd wanna end it with an overall happy ending, and if hinting at anything that comes next, it wouldn't be as big or devastating as Darkseid. Highly unlikely. But I've been wrong before.

I don't remember Percy being that prominent during the campaign fight against Thordak. But I agree with you that it feels weird not to have him there. This episode seems to be showing us the hole that is left once he's not around. It's not just Vex being heartbroken, it's affecting the entire group. But, Keeper Yennen's eulogy says that "his mind illuminated our future, carving his legacy with the unwavering chisel of time." And you can see his influence extending to everyone in this episode and the next, as everyone steps up to try and fill the void.

I think they killed Kash off for two reasons: 1. So people wouldn't have the exact thought you did, "hey maybe Kash can resurrect Percy." 2. To show what true irrevocable death looks like. So maybe later it comes up that Percy's soul was actually never "taken" by the Matron of Ravens, it's still trapped in Ripley's gun, and it's still on the material plane. Which means they might be able to resurrect him once they go take care of Ripley and retrieve her gun.

At this point of the campaign, Liam had recently lost his mother to cancer, and was doing his best to carry on. He has mentioned that getting the killing blow on Thordak, who killed Vax's mother was a cathartic experience, like he had defeated the cancer that plagued his mother.

I just watched the ,,Table to Scene" comparison of that finishing blow and when Laura says (as Vex) ,,I'll go up to my brother and hug him" she hugs Liam and he looks like he is about to cry, not just from this emotional rollercoaster of a game they are playing, but (most likely) because of his OWN loss.😢

when John got his powers, i suddenly remembered "oh yeah, last season we're getting." and was bummed realising the wasted potential. Imagine a season where Jordon goes rogue ater hearing that "you have chosen Johnathan, he is your favourite son" And Jordon just wailing on John, while Lex is cackling in the background "do it. KILL him! KILL your mom's favoured son. DO IT!" A proper Superboy v Superboy feud. Instead its was just a passive aggressive "yeah Johnathan has powers, now im not special anymore" comment by Jordon.

Jordan to me is a bitch, he is only happy when he was in control and if he loses to his brother at all he complains or makes a fit. I am tried of the hypocrisy from him. Even though Jonathan didn't have powers he always tried to stay calm for his father, mother and brother and now that he has them Jordan is pissed. I am sorry but Jordan pisses me off!

Putting Zerxus in was a brilliant retcon, especially considering that he hadn't been created for years after campaign one. But it makes perfect sense. And yes, that was Luis Carazo as the VA.

@@chipsalom it was so cool! And this design looks awesome too. I still can't believe I didn't realize it was supposed to be Luis' Zerxus from ExU Calamity. But it was awesome to get more artwork depicting the Age of Arcanum as well as the Ring of Brass. I'm loving how they're able to sprinkle in more of the world building that was done after campaign 1.

Also, I give credit to Tyler’s acting-when the glasses came off, his whole countenance morphed into Superman’s more confident and settled demeanor. So it wasn’t just taking the glasses off that caused Sam to recognize him.
