The art named the black Madonna was created in Poland. It is an icon written to depic Mary as one of the darker, swarthy skinned Poles. What a wonderful depiction for Poles to see, rather than the pale skin shown by many European artists. many

***Breaking News*** •There is a major case going on right now at the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR); case #625692 in Detroit, MI. •This civil rights complaint is against Detroit Catholic Central High School in Novi, MI •One Theology teacher came in a classroom full of students and told the students to quiet down or he'd turn the classroom in to nazi Germany. Another teacher, the Business and Marketing teacher, harassed a black student student by asking him "Who owns you!"; the white teacher and all-white students all laughed at the only black student in the class that had nowhere to turn because the person that was supposed to be in charge (the school teacher) was the very person leading the bullying and harassing and a varsity wrestling coach gave an under-aged student-athlete a performance enhancing substance at a national wrestling tournament. •The black student and parent have NEVER been accused of any misconduct. •The Black student and Parent are being represented by The Cochran Firm (Detroit) attorney Mr. James King [email protected] •The MDCR investigator is Mrs. Yvonne Sloan. We honor Mary as the woman who gave birth to Jesus. She is special because of that. Many artists have chosen to honor Mary by creating images of her based on their own thoughts. It's the same as hanging a picture of your own mother in your home. It's a reminder of how special she wad in your life. It is not your mother. But it does help you think about her.

You have said thry are images. Noone worships the images although it may appear so. The images are just their to help people understand. They are teaching tools the same as maps and topologies are in Geography.

What a beautiful and inspiring meditation on Mary and of those beautiful Black mothers of faith who held us close to their bosoms. DeColores to my sisters who participated in this meditation. You too are gifted and graced as woman of faith, mothers of faith, and heirs to seat next to Mary in Heaven. You who have born and nourished God’s children, you have raised them as Mary raised her own son, to honor their father. Your love and devotion have made your children true to the title children of God. I thank you for this meditation and being the mothers you have proven yourselves to be!
