Neither Wei Ying nor Nie Huaisang were ever villains. They both lived through things they didn’t deserve. Wei Ying lost his family, sacrificed his golden core to his brother, had no other choice left as to start using the demonic cultivation, stood up for wrongly oppressed Wengs and was vilified by almost everyone. Including his own brother. Nie Huaisang was a warm, caring, goofy, artistic soul who wanted nothing more than living his life under his big bro’s caring arm, draw his wonderful fans, watch the birds and stuff. He never had any interest in power, politics. Yet, his only family member was brutally taken away from him. Which affected him a lot. Of course he wanted revenge. That’s a natural desire after something like this, if you ask me. He did what he had to do. If not for NHS, Meng Yao would’ve get away with all the crap he did. Not to mention that Wei Ying would’ve remain as dead as a doornail.

I fell on love Wei Xian character. Gorgeous, só funny, cute, good person and sufered a lot. He wanted revenge bur he he was always who he is true to himself. I ❤ how lan zhan loves him . Great chemistry. Great love story!
