I was at this festy to see the Levellers a couple of years before in 1992.....the year of the fence stopping the travellers from getting in. It was probably the best gig I ever saw, the crowd was bouncing from start to finish ✌️

As an American abroad in Scotland, I heard them, but Glastonbury proved to me the presence. We thought RATM crowd was wild. Not in comparison. Probably never saw so many people bouncing in unison

I fucking love this video. There's a moment in the first chorus when the lights go on the crowd and I think it's the first time the band sees how insanely huge the mass of people is. You can hear their whole performance change after this song due to the lift they got from it. Amazing moment in one of the best Glastonbury headlining sets ever.

So discovered these guys in about 93 and they were the only reason I wanted to go to Glastonbury. But didn’t go and then it all got big and commercial. Day dreamed about them playing at our local venue and yes the dream came true. Fab gig where I also learnt about a certain festival.. now still love them but seen them so many times lol.. and found some new bands on the way (Slow Readers Club).. have the 92 show on cd and wish I had been there

Had a great five or so years following them. Got called the oxford crew . Went to Paris , Busking near Notre Damn, Euro Disney when it first opened. Two coachloads travelled from London . The now wife , on top of a four high stack of friends, balancing twenty foot up with Mickey Mouse ears .Great days. unfortunately never to be repeated.
