Paused the video just to say Dr. Najeeb you are simply the best🥺🙌🏾 I have never come across a great and brilliant teacher like you. Just only if other teachers and doctors could emulate the heart you have for what you do🥺🙇🏾♀️Thank you so much and may GOD richly bless you and your positive impact in our lives🙇🏾♀️❤️🙏🏾

Within the primary visual cortex (V1), blob cells detect color, and they receive input from the parvo cellular (P-cells) about color and form. In between the blobs are cells known as interblob cells. Interblob cells detect shape and movement. Some interblobs detect shape and movement in a specific direction, location, or position, while other inter blobs detect shape and movement without specificity. The interblob cells receive input about movement from the magno cellular (m-cells). Seeing someone wave to a friend, seeing someone walk in a straight line, or seeing someone jump up and down, or seeing a dog spinning from chasing its tail-these different movements are detected by different interblob cells in the primary visual cortex (V1). Any movement you see or do is detected by different interblob cells. The blob cells send their output information about color and form to the thin stripes of V2, and the information gets relayed to the ventral inferior temporal lobe that detects “what” you look at. The interblob cells send their output to the thick and pale stripes of V2, and the P-channel information about location, and the M-channel about movement are sent to the MT (V5) and dorsal pathway to the parietal lobe to determine movement and “where” it is what you look at. The blob and interblob cells, arranged in columns in V1, were discovered in 1979 by ophthalmologist Dr. Margaret Wong-Riley.

Amazing! Only if Indian medical school teachers could teach with this much simplicity, clarity and patience, all our doctors would have been on a next level with their concepts and no brainstorming behind additional resources would have been necessary.
