The problem with this story is that they were never in love. All the angst, all the sadness, etc., were for other people and other things. Almost none of it was about their relationship.

I like this couple.... they are more cute than the main couple for me. Like Hia Win - Team (Until We Meet Again), P'Pai - Sky (Love in the Air) 🥰🥰..... and they have their own series. i refuse to believe this is one sided, charles is always SO touchy with edwin, looks at him with heart eyes and is flirting with him *all the time*

to be fair, most of the touches may be bc they've been rly close best mates for 30 + yrs (ik male friends who r close like that, just the way they are :)) BUT there are some moments i question...like that scene in the witch's house, before Edwin went into the magic cellar...what was up w that long look? He even stared while Edwin took off his coat...SIR his face is UP THERE T-T and all their hugs seem so intense , esp from Charles, he's caRESSING Edwin so blatantly (but then again idk if that is normal for decade old friends, i dont want to stereotype) ---also the last episode, he whispers near his ear(?) "my smile is pretty convincing" like...remember when Charles found out the Cat king did the same thing and he was all like "He whispered in your ear?!!?" so why would HE do it?? SIRRRR??? esp after the whole confession??? those are just a few but am i reading too much into it?? i maybe be crazy but if anything they are def soulmates, platonic oR otherwise! sorry crystal 😅

@@sparklinglemon-limepop8442 Dude, the intimacy coordinator was really onto smth with Charles's caressing each time he and Edwin hug. Don't forget the lingering thing Charles does after they had hugged in the last episode when the Night Nurse and her boss appeared in their office, my guy straight up touched his hand for at least 2 seconds while Edwin had already turned away! There's noooooo way Charles does not at least think Edwin is hot (and is probably in love with Edwin too but yk), like the moment he took his coat off is not even the only time Charles checks Edwin out. Remember episode 6 (I believe it was episode 6, the one where they took on Monty's made-up case with "Gladys" at least)? The moment where Niko tells Edwin that he looks nice, Charles immediately checks him out and even mentions later in the episode, when he's trying to confess to Charles, "So this is why you dressed up nice today". Lastly, I soooo agree with you about the ear whisper, Charles knew exactly what he was doing when whispering into Edwin's ear, he's defo flirting hard

This show is so good. I love nick and Charlie show. I’m a little well more than a little. My obsession is a problem but I don’t care. I will say in 1 million times.❤😊 they’re acting a phenomenal who else believe that they’re actually dating because how much chemistry they have?
