I think the AI guy did a line of coke cuz it sounds a little fast. And Dave is definitely the one to sing this. This sucks.

Dear Steve Vai: If you see this video, I hope it has found you well! I have been playing guitar for a few years now and I really want to try my hand at playing a 7 string. I've looked at getting a universe swirl, but they're just way too expensive. Even though the universe guitar is available in other colors, none really do it for me like the swirl pattern does. I even looked into building my own, but that was a disaster waiting to happen! Then, I had a crazy idea: "What if I asked Steve Vai himself to sell me one of his guitars!" So, Mr. Vai, since you have so many guitars, I was wondering if you'd be willing to sell me one at a reasonable price? If not, that's ok. Thanks for being such a great inspiration and role model!

Hey Giovanni, Vai here. Thanks so much for making this video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Your playing is sounding great! You have very good intonation, vibrato and tone and you worked out all the notes beautifully. I see you have all the cool Vai type gear and it sounds like it’s working out for you. Learning this song can be helpful in getting your fingers moving and learning some cool techniques. It’s nice to take what you like from these techniques and apply them to your inner musical voice. A few things I would suggest are to take a song that you know, such as this one perhaps, and keep playing it over and over and take a deep look into each section and imagine in your mind how you can improve it. When I was your age I would sometime play in a mirror and watch my fingers move. This way I could see what looked awkward and correct it. I always wanted my playing to not only sound good but I wanted my fingers to move elegantly on the neck. Watching your hands in a mirror can help to navigate a smoother style. Also, listening back to what you play after recording it can be very helpful in shaping it more. You are doing very well and it always inspires me to see someone take the time and have the passion to learn one of my songs. The guitar is a good friend for life and it’s nice to see someone your age playing so well already. Go man go! But I’m sorry to say, I’m not selling any swirls at this time. I actually only have a few left from the Whitesnake era that I want to hold onto. I see that you have a blue swirl of sorts hanging on your wall in the vid. It doesn’t look so bad at all. Keep going and Don’t stop. All the best young man. s

@@StevenSiroVai1 Mr. Vai, I'm absolutely touched that you took time out of your busy schedule to write such a nice message! Thank you so much for your advice. I will definitely try playing in the mirror soon. My friend and I recently saw you play live with Chicago in New Jersey, and that was truly an awesome experience. If you recall, during the last song I was actually standing about 20 feet in front of you wearing a white shirt with your logo on it. And I might me mistaken, but I think you may have seen me and nodded at me. At the end of the show, I tried to get your attention so you could sign my JEM's backplate, but unfortunately you didn't hear me. Luckily, I got talking to your tech Doug and he gave me one of your picks! In this video, the room I'm playing in is actually a computer generated 3d environment I made in a game design class at school. I 3D modeled all the amps and guitars you see in the background. I was trying to replicate the look from the Jemini distortion promo video you made a while back. So when you complimented all my "gear" I got a kick out of it. As for not wanting to sell you guitars, I totally understand. As I've come to learn, guitar players and their guitars form a special relationship with each other that is priceless. Thanks again for commenting on my video. It absolutely made my day. I'll keep practicing and hopefully I'll catch up and get to meet you one day!
