This really is valuable info Baz. It has the potential to be one of the best out there. I have around 130,000 subscribers and I think that I got there by providing clear info. - if you used a tripod and made your shots longer and more stable so we could see where things sit and how they are connected. plus if we could hear what you are saying, this would be a great vid. would you consider remaking this vid without music and without waving the camera around?

Will this work on the roof of a van? Or is it for the side only? Wondering if rain would get in.

Hi, It may work on a van roof. I have installed on my trailer roof and haven't noticed any water, but its not a full proof system. I would check with your local supplier of the vent to see what they recommend. Thanks for watching

@bazradventures7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. I don’t really notice any additional dust as the whole trailer is not complete dust proof. I also haven’t noticed any dust appearing around the vent on my fridge, so I have to say it would allow any in whilst travelling. I suppose it depends on your application also. Well done on 12v set up and a good vid , did you mention whether you had your 240v shore power certified ? That back to back 240v socket you are using are illegal in Australia , the water and dust entering the top of that plug will never allow an RCD to work ( it may work in your driveway but once it gets wet , muddy and dusty it won’t) it’s a death trap mate . I have been an electrician for over 40 years and only mentioning this because you need to get it done correctly by a certified electrician .
@bazradventures Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching mate. It’s just a cover for an access hole through the trailer body to an extension lead. So no need for RCD or certification. I’m aware of the requirement ms hence I didn’t wire up an actual GPO to the trailer. Thanks for the note though.
